I know I stand in line Until you think you have the time To spend an evening with me And if we go some place to dance I know that there's a chance You won't be leaving with me Then afterwards we drop into a quiet little place And have a drink or two And then I go and spoil it all By saying somethin' stupid like, "I love you" I can see it in your eyes That you despise the same old lies You heard the night before And though it's just a line to you For me it's true And never seemed so right before I practice every day To find some clever lines to say To make the meaning come true But then I think I'll wait Until the evening gets late And I'm alone with you The time is right, your perfume fills my head The stars get red, and, oh, the night's so blue And then I go and spoil it all By saying somethin' stupid like, "I love you" The time is right, your perfume fills my head The stars get red, and, oh, the night's so blue And then I go and spoil it all By saying somethin' stupid like, "I love you" "I love you" "I love you" "I love you" "I love you"

Frank displays his true fatherhood love as his vocals cradle and surround Nancy's monotone voice. The contrast between father and daughter couldn't be more noticeable. In the decade of the Beatles, Stones, and Beach Boys, this track defied all odds and hit the #1 spot in summer 1967 where it lasted for 4 weeks

Matt Monro - Softly as I leave you Softly I will leave you softly For my heart would break if you should wake and see me go So I leave you softly long before you miss me Long before your arms can beg me to stay For one more hour or one more day After all the years I can't bear the tears to fall so Softly, as I leave you there Softly I will leave you softly For my heart would break if you should wake and see me go So I leave you softly long before you miss me Long before your arms can beg me to stay For one more hour or one more day After all the years I can't bear the tears to fall so Softly, as I leave you there

The sad untimely passing of Matt Monro left a big void in the wonderful, but now forgotten songs of yesteryear. He was one of the last of the great crooners and was sensational. He is unforgettable and sadly missed.

Here you come again Just when I've begun to get myself together You waltz right in the door Just like you've done before And wrap my heart 'round your little finger Here you come again Just when I'm about to make it work without you You look into my eyes And lie those pretty lies And pretty soon I'm wonderin' how I came to doubt you All you got to do is smile that smile And there go all my defenses Just leave it up to you and in a little while You're messin' up my mind and fillin' up my senses Here you come again Lookin' better than a body has a right to And shakin' me up so that all I really know Is here you come again And here I go All you have to do is smile that smile And there go all my defenses Just leave it up to you and in a little while You're messin' up my mind and fillin' up my senses Here you come again Lookin' better than a body has a right to And shakin' me up so That all I really know Is here you come again And here I go Here I go And here I go And here I go Here you come again Here I go Here I go And here I go Here I go
