    Is this the same as converting audio to midi using flex pitch data? I'm debating this ezbass vs djinnbass for this input reason tbh

    I know the video is kinda shot a little upside down and sideways, ha ha. But I wonder why he mounted it upside down. You can see the three mounting screws right there. I guess it really wouldn’t matter, but now the dip switches for the voltages are not accessible. Even though they can probably be accessed between the rails as well. Hmmm.

    Tbanks for this. I just went into the studio for the very first time last week to record some original songs. I’m an intermediate player, at best, but I knew my own songs well. Could I record them? Not for love or money. Finally, like you suggested, I pulled out my lyric sheet to follow along and that helped. But, so far, I have recorded a poor representation of what I can do when I’m alone practicing. Back to the studio next weekend to work on more material … and maybe try to fix what I’ve already done. 😬😬😬

I am looking at power bricks and have tried combining 2 x 500 ports, it doesn’t work, the pedal powers up but the sound breaks up. No just the regions are renamed. The underlying file name is based on the track name when you first record. You can change these in Logic's file explorer though.

    @@NeilSpencerBruce Thanks for the reply, but I found my answer. I now realize you are not able to insert any of the internal mods or fx from the MS3 in between each loop of the MS3. I initially didn't realize the loops are in series and that nothing is able to be inserted between the individual loops. This actually isn't a deal breaker for me though. I will mostly use the loops for drive pedals and wah, and the MS3 will be used primarily for compression at the start of the chain and then mods/fx following the drives. I bought one last night, so my journey with it begins soon.

    i have a question. i'm not sure if this is the exact video to ask on, but i'm trying to figure out how to use manual control mode to bypass an effect in an external unit via midi. i have the MS3 paired with a line 6 HX stomp. what i want is to be able to bypass a shimmer reverb on a heavy reverb preset that i have. do i have to use an assign setting or a midi patch setting?

  • @NeilSpencerBruce
    @NeilSpencerBruce3 ай бұрын

    HI there, this maybe possible depending on the unit you are trying to control, but you will need to look in the midi cc settings of it's manual and look for Bypass. You would then set up an assign on the MS to send out a midi CC change when you click a certain button the the MS3.
