    Denis's problem is not steroids. Many compare him with other arm wrestlers. For example, Devon or Brezenk, who are older than him. But they forget that Denis is not only an arm wrestler, he is a former strongman. He yearned to lift weights of half a ton and trained for this (problems with joints). Similar to Roney Coleman There he lost his health. If he had been exclusively involved in arm wrestling, now he could be at the top and fight with Levan.

    Levan is the carrot dangling over the head of everyone compelling them to train. No way he is bad for armwrestling, and he is a likeable character too, he is actually a pretty good role model to many teaching us you don't need to have a toxic personality to be the best. And if it wasn't for Levan we would have never had the 2023 stem-cell Devon hype train, probably the biggest thing that has ever happened in armwrestling.

    @@Armwrestingnation I don't think Levan is to blame for the use of steroids in strength sports. It's tragic that we watch people shorten their lives significantly for our amusement but they chose this life. In many sports there are very dominant winners, in chess Magnus Carlson for instance, it's just something that happens, to deny is would be to fabricate a false reality, WWE but for armwrestling ? Devon would love that 🤣

  • @andyWEASEL
    @andyWEASEL18 күн бұрын

    I don't think Levan is bad for the division. As an AW fan, I see this as a very interesting situation, in which noone has trully managed to solve the Levan puzzle. There have been a few noteworthy cracks in his game, Ermes being the most promising so far, but Levan still won convincingly. Nobody can contest the fact that Levan, at this point in time, is the rightful champion of the superheavyweight division in armwrestling worldwide. It's not the same case in other weight categories or in other sports like MMA, where some of the weight divisions are very competitive and nobody holds the top spot for long, while other divisions do have a dominant champion with a long reign. I personally like the fact that in Levan's case, it's obvious he deserves his #1 spot, you can't deny him that, and also there is a lot of pressure that comes along with this. Imagine the upset when or if he ever loses, it will be more significant for the sport because it will reflect his almost flawless dominance, as of this day. I get it can be intimidating and demoralizing for all the other competitors, but it's hard to criticize someone because they are too good or dominant. Cheers

    Don't get me wrong, I like levan he is very nice and humble for a champion. He needs a challenge, while yes, ermes was the closest to beating him a round. Don't get me wrong He's a Once in a generation type of puller as we well, which, in its own right, is amazing to see But for competition and the division, i'm hoping other people come along and give him some kind of challenge. Don't get me wrong, though, the division's more fun. When you have somebody that can actually beat you or challenge you. right now, he's still unbeatable.
