This one is quite good, reminds me of 1993
@asinenoise25 күн бұрын
thank you :) sorry for my ignorance but do you mean the year 1993? something special about that one?
@user-vn1zb9ov8d22 күн бұрын
@@asinenoise Yes that's the year, not a cryptic band name. The initial confluence of MDMA, electronic music and total lawlessness was at it's most extreme in 1993 I reckon (the drugs were ridiculously strong, the musicians had sussed techno/breakbeats and outdoor raves were still legal in the UK). After that, millions of people were into dance music & it all went overground and commercial, splintering into the fashions still hanging around today. Although I'm sure loads of people have a completely different opinion on those days, but it was a lot of fun and very experimental! Check out Spiral Tribe, specifically Crystal Distortion on Network 23 to see what I'm talking about - your piece gave me a nostalgic chuckle for total madness, thanks!!! PS what are you using for the visuals? I was thinking of getting Hypno from Sleepy Circuits for some entertainment - see Mylarmelodies on KZread - but your work is a lot more refined!

One of your best, if not the best. Stunning - both visually and sound wise. AR is the ultimate machine ;-) any samples used? Have to ask - are you on Patreon, any chance buy and download the project?
@asinenoiseАй бұрын
thank you :) yep, the snare and the bell-type sound are samples, the kick and the synths sounds are synthesis, the rest is fx track. guess I could easily replace the snare with one of the machines, but sometimes I just iterate run through the samples pool and if a sound works - it works... no Pateron, I don't really looking to sell anything, I might upload these on bandcamp some day and maybe attach the project...

quite undersvalued channel. everytime I hear your AR marvel regret selling mine MkI years back. reconsidering MkII, the sound design possibilities are just too advanced even compare to DT II. Q is it all AR? sometimes I think I hear Gen Loss and other FX. Great work, man
@asinenoiseАй бұрын
thank you for the kind words :) everything comes from the stereo outs of the rytm, no other fx or sound sources involved. there's some post processing I do, mostly some eq and compression to finalize the recording. it is a marvelous instrument, one of a kind really. can't say I utilize the mk2 features as much as I'd like to, such as CV ins or the resampling, I do use it from time to time but not too often, the only feature I really love is the QPERF knob which is amazing, the only difference between the QPERF and having a midi controller to control the perfomance macros is that with QPERF you can control several at a time with a single knob, otherwise I think mk1 is still insane if you don't mind the other stuff. I also like the mk2 screen better but that's totally a luxury you can avoid if you find a mk1 in good condition.
