LOVE THIS!!! A quote my mom always says is "You'd worry less about what people think of you if you realize how seldom they do." I love it cause it allows me to be more open to others because I know they won't judge me as bad as I think they will

At 0:45 "I'm not really your 'friend'. I'm only here to survive." is a funny quote that helps relieve tension and stress, making me laugh and feel good from its candor. At 4:00 For example, keep a forbidden candy jar in an easily visible location you're never allowed to touch - no matter how tempting it looks. This builds self-control, which is essential for personal freedom.

The problem I got with no filtering is that if I told directly what I thought about that second, my words would make no sense and I think there’s like 10 normal words a day I forget what is called, I don’t know if this is normal but I feel like it isn’t Cause then I have to pause mid sentence to try to either remember or explain the thing, and I’m extremely bad at explaining, so then it makes the conversation even more awkward and may even result to more silence

One of my "nervous ticks" is rushing what I say when I have the urge to filter myself. Often times others can't make out what I'm saying. It can be demoralizing when you muster the courage to say something, and then you feel self conscious because of the way you said it. The good news is I've done a better job as of late catching myself doing it, and slowing my words down.
