I love watches. It's literally the only thing close to "jewelry" that I wear. But there isn't a watch on this planet worth more than maybe 2,500.00 to me. I knew a guy who wore a Rolex. It was definitely a nice watch, but I never saw the value in it, and it quit running all the time.

Bought a RW maestro as my first automatic. Its a nice watch. Well worth the £500 price i paid as it was discounted. It was my gateway between quartz tissot and my rolex and omega.

i love my atomic sync- and I’m in Canada, pretty far from the nearest radio (Colorado). If it doesn’t work for someone, try wearing it overnight. If that doesn’t work, strap it to something metal - I’ve used a larger stainless steel pot lid; others have used a bike frame. Give it a try - it works like an antenae.

I have a sub and a datejust i also have several invivtas, while the invictas are great for the money the problem i have had it the crystals have gotten cloudy after 10 year. For the price ill just buy new ones and replace them. They definitely have their place

Nice summary video on Breeeeeont. IMO Vertex is a much better option if you want a British tool watch with proper military heritage. That of CWC. Bremont were Basically forced to downsize, sell off, after chewing their way through all of the ‘Royal British Military’ units out there. Those sales were the only thing keeping them going. I can only imagine how disappointed you’d be if you were a Bremont owner right now.

Unlike most watch ppl within 10 years up or down from me (I'm 40) I don't hate or hate on iwc infact I actually like the ingenieur even if the price is a lil um mature. With that said this will be 🔥 I hope they make it. If it's not crazy 💰 (probably will be) I'll be looking hard into it...

What I do: I pick ONE watch for the entire trip. I never take it off. If going to London, I only wear long sleeves. If U.S. I stay armed.

If there's only one watch I would NEVER wear, it would be a Rolex. It's such a ridiculously pretentious brand. If you are really into watches and technology, at least, show some education in the watchmaking business and buy something worth interest, buy something special, not ''a place in a club''. People complain other brands don't hold their value as a Rolex does. They don't love (nor know much about) watches imo. For those who think a watch is a mean for speculation, I have just one thing to say: buy some gold instead. Those guys should stop pretending they are a watch enthusiast just because they put 20.000$ in a Rolex. Personnaly, with the same money, I would go home with a Seamaster AND a GS Springdrive ANY time over a Rolex, no matter what value it might hold for a potential inheritor. Rolex simply does not deserve the (aging) hype. That's why they need all the drama. Sorry for you Rolex guys.

Although Rolex is the most popular luxury watch brand, most people can not afford them. This is your target audience. "(insert your down market brand here) is better than Rolex and here are the 5 reasons why". KZread is chock full of such videos. Yours is just another one of them.

Could by most Sinn watches for well under their basic models, many Christopher Ward models with military vibe again well under the price of these watches. Longines Spirit Zulu Time would a much better buy and obviously many Tudor models.

Yeah, I have a bronze superman - the date wheel is slightly off-center. Like,, the top 5% of the date digits are cut-off by the date window. For a $1250 watch (that's what I paid for a new one)... that's the end of my yema adventure.
