  Thank you! I'm trying, and failing spectacularly to _begin_ "learning to code" There is a ton of free content out there, with pretty simple beginner projects and as best as I can tell people are learning to code thanks to this content and that's great, but I can't. Within seconds I have way too many questions and my brain literally can't move past them. I need to understand what, how, and why, and then the whats, hows, and whys of whatever follows from that, _before_ I can even think about learning a coding language. I guess it's the same kind of thing as learning a spoken language for me. I fail, and I think that might be down to needing to learn a good foundation of simple concepts _first_. Like, using an app, or following audio cues that are essentially throwing random sentences out there, just utterly fails for me, even if I keep trying it daily, and even if there is a switch in word order, or changing out a word, to ostensibly have you connect a particular word and commit it to memory, it doesn't help me. I will quickly forget everything as I don't have enough context to understand _why_ swapping that word is fine, but swapping another isn't, why those words are used in this sentence, but another with a similar meaning is completely different when the subject of the sentence is changed, I don't understand enough of the context of the _other_ words to actually _learn_ and thus manipulate what's learned and actually understand how to use it. Point is, I have known this is why I've just been endlessly frustrated with trying to learn coding, and now I'm seeking out information to figure out which concepts I've got to grasp in order to actually _learn_ a coding language. Content like this is so helpful for that. I now know a few more things about just what is covered in the video that my brain is going to need to learn more about the concepts of. Thank you!
