Nice! Is it legal to tint the pilot and copilot windows or must they be temporary panels?

Marty Mitchell thanks! Tint is not in the FAR anymore and only an advisory , so technically you can but we don’t recommend it, for night ops it gets extremely hard to see out and the big one is while taxing, you can’t see wingtips for clearance, so we make those removable shades to be quick and easy to put in and take out.

:))... did you have the UV and IR blockers in the tint ? is it even legal to add the tint to the plexiglass ?

MAGA thanks! Yes we have UV and IR, much different blend then any standard auto film as we had to specifically designed the film for aviation. Lots of temp changes and pressure on those plastic windows had to come in account . Our adhesive is not permanent so it’s able to be put on and removed, our film is only for the AFT windows , we make removable suction cup shades with quick releases for the pilot and copilot windows.

Still waiting for you to create a pattern for the cessna 150/152 rear windows that is pre cut and we can order. Tons and tons of owners want tint, but local auto tint installers usually dont do plexi or polycarbonate. Please make a 150/152 rear that we can order!
