Thanks for all the updates mate, hope alls going well. There is certainly alot of good stuff coming out for the rest of this year and most likely next few years too
I like all your videos, keep it up and stay healthy🦋🦋
Thank you, I will
Pretty fkd. A whole lot of benchwork, next to nil realistic scenery or self-bourne structure & a whole lota 'yes-mate' & photography that shows off someone else's skill at creating realistic models.
Sounds like someone's jealous they don't have 40m long modular Narrow Gauge model railway.
Well we had to start somewhere! Would love to have more people join in the no matter what level of modeling they’re at! Hope to see you at an exhibition or a meet up soon! Thanks again for watching!
I would love to get involved with freemo in Australia. Great to see it happening!
Man I can do all this except afford a train... Yet... But damn I want one hahaha nice one 👍
I can only dream of having a layout this good. It is superb!
Thanks for the shoutout Will, really appreciate it! 😀
This is awesome, this concept is virtually perfect to introduce new people to the hobby in an open social setting that doesn’t include yearly membership fees or club politics!
They do look epic and love how 009 keeps booming with new layouts, great update.
How exciting. Your enthusiasm is as infectious as ever. Excellent looking modules.
Fabulous.
Woohoo, good on ya Will! A warm welcome to the BRMA, my friend! This year is ten years since joining the BRMA and I have to say it is the best group where one can learn a lot from and have some really awesome mates as well, some whom I call almost family to me. So, on that note, I look forward to catching up in Victoria in October for the convention! Keep well. Regards, Caleb
Well done Will. Great progress for 3 months 🎉
That is a great kit Will and a great video! Thx mate
Nice update. Kudos to you for your efforts in getting this concept going in Australia Will.
Stephen, you didn't happen to live in Armidale in the 90s by any chance?
@@dannorman387 Yes mate, and I recognise you immediately!
Fantastic to see, love everyone working together. Yes I agree it would work for ON30 as well…lots of ideas
It certainly would work for 0n30! I’d love to see that happen as well!
@@WillJamesRailways thanks for encouragement, I have a few guys close that might build something
2:36 damn. Gonna show that guy my Thomas the tank channel
I showed him your Thomas the Tank channel.
Congrats to all involved! I reckon for the next one, you'll need a bigger hall💪
That's the plan!
I genuinely think the whole freemo setup is crucial to the entire hobby, no matter what scale it is. Allowing people to do as they wish with no judgement. No matter who you are, what you like, you can just have fun, and that’s something I think people forget to do and take too seriously. We just all have to have fun. Great stuff will awesome video as always.
I couldn’t agree more! Thank you!
I think it is one of the best ways forward because it reduces the barrier to entry, but also fosters the social aspect of the hobby. It allows for the flexibility that you can't get from more traditional club layouts and memberships.
Wow! everything looks great!
Certainly can’t wait to see where it goes from here!
Thank You,
You are welcome!
wow have wanted to do this for so long after seeing it in the USA so glad you have kicked it off here in Australia
Thanks Alan! We’re certainly keen to see where it goes! I’d still love to see Free-Mo Ho get off the ground but there was nothing but fighting and groups simple refusal to work together was pretty disappointing which is one reason we went down this path!
Way to go Will. Keep on training.
Thank you, I will
Good video thanks Lee
Glad you enjoyed it
Nice video Will. It was great to see everyone's modules at the meet up at AMRA. I'm also excited to get a start on my own module and eventually participate at a meet up.
Thanks for coming Nicholas! We’re keen to see what you make!
Will how do I put my Tangara model train on there?
You can apply for the 2025 exhibition of you’re interested in exhibiting?
@@WillJamesRailways thank you
Great video! Much of the scenery looks like parts of my home state of Texas. One day I plan to visit Australia and train riding and watching will be on my itinerary!
Inspirational layout brought to life by a great video.
Great Video. Hearns Hobbies will miss you mate.
It was great to see everyone's hard work in person after seeing bits and pieces coming together in the Facebook group. Time to clean up my space and get to work!
Will, great update on an exciting new initiative. It looks amazing, and sounds like it is getting a big take-up. Good luck with it all, and I will follow progress with keen interest. Thank you for the update, and sharing, cheers, and stay safe, Michael
Once again, informative & enjoyable; thank you.
Thanks! They were/are a great release! I can’t wait to see what’s next from OTM
Phwoar! Puffing Billy carriages at 10:20. Count me in!
Really excited to see them!
@@WillJamesRailways I'm in the UK; life member of PBPS, and have one of each of the Haskell NA locomotives, bogie wagons too. It will be great to have some carriages!
Very Cool Will....
Thanks!
cool vid from the train show thanks lee
Thanks Lee! We’re all looking forward to it!
Nice video Will. I'm glad SRV are running the Tait set to the exhibition this year as it made getting to last years exhibition so easy.
We’re very lucky to have the organizations working together! It’s a great thing to see and be apart of!
1st time going to Sydney show, it was well organised. My standout layouts where Luneburg Chamatiago & Southwestern and Luneburg. Different to Vic and SA shows with most Layouts being modeled on nsw. Could have split the video into a Part 1 and Part 2
Absolutely! Glad you enjoyed it and those layouts! It really is the best exhibition! I won’t be splitting videos, I think it’s better and easier to find if it’s in one place. All the layouts are marked in the slider and notes. Which makes it easier to come back to in the future! I do appreciate the suggestion but I won’t be doing it!
why is there a green flag on l1162?
No idea!
Amazing too see you advertising steamrail Victoria's Events!
Anything to help boost the signal for a great event and organization!
Can't wait!
I’ll bet! See you there!
Most likely I would use the tait
An excellent choice!
Did it this way last time, and will be doing it again !
Excellent to hear! See you at the show!
Can’t wait to go there next month -Benjamin frewen
Great to hear!
It’s very reassuring hearing the sound of the train on the tracks
Will, AMRAVIC certainly put on a great show, and the use of the Taits to get there is a great option. You are so lucky in Melbourne to have these options, and co-operations between organisations. Cheers, and thanks for sharing, stay safe, Michael
Thanks for the info Will, definitely trying to get on the Tait, why go by car?!?
Couldn’t agree more!
Great coverage, Will!
Thanks see you at the show!
Keep up the great work Will.
Thanks, will do!
