Wowzers! New sub here!
All I see is the swirls they did on your paint with a dirty pad
@@cheesehead2399 not my paint. I didn’t take delivery of it. I waited and got another one that is perfect because I’m not paying for a brand new damaged car.
Miss EDV NICE JOB JOE 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
The show a Jiffy Lube live was really amazing!
Totally live except for the vocals on Legs but hey i still love ZZ
❤❤❤
That looks amazing!!!
Nice playing!!
You definitely made the right choice to wait but most are probably worried that if they reject the car, it will take months before rheumatoid arthritis replacement comes. You were definitely lucky to get ur replacement so fast!
I respect your patience.
And the plethora of scratches that happen with new Tesla paint...
Looks like a fun weekend! Thanks for the tips, Uncle Berg! You are a savvy shopper when it comes to finding good pay tables!!! 😊 Believe it or not… I have never been there!!
Im so sad 😥. Today I've had to reject my MP3 white due to 2 rock chips on the paint. They tried to fix it but Tesla service made them even worse. Now I have to wait for weeks for a new VIN 😭
My replacement just arrived... video publishes on Monday
Sing baby Its You buy the Smith Band 1969.
Tesla paint always sucks
Did you end up accepting it?
@@brianescude7981 no I declined delivery, waiting on the next one which should be here mid-August
I would reject it. Make them fix it or get you a different car. I saw this as someone who knows how to do paint-correction, but I worry that someone already tried that and went too deep with the cutting polish.
its under the clear .your not buffing that out . its from poor paint prep
1st time I got to see ZZTOP was 1976, and many times after.
Where is Reb? Or are you working in the second one? lol
Joe Biden?
All software screws up. Your comment is a total failure!
I’m glad you enjoyed this video thanks for commenting 😆
Mr and Mr Cool
Took the delivery on June 5th. I had to wait 21 days to bring in for the service to correct similar paint issues as yours, scratches in door jam area, dent on trunk hatch area and bunch of other minor issues that I found during the inspection. I didn't think they would be able to fix it to 100%, but to my surprise it came back in perfect condition in less than 8 hours. Kudos to Tesla @ Lynnwood. I was skeptical after all the reviews showing how Tesla made it worse than before. But I guess they came a long way. Definitely give them a chance to fix those issues.
Most of that will buff out as its in the clear coat and not into the paint itself. Call me an Whambulance.
*a Waambulance
Kinda of looks like clearcoat will definitely buff out.
👏👏👏👏👏👏
You need me to be your next guitar player , im on tik tok .....
Very very skinny dude
I think you’re worried about buying a car for “$50,000” rather than those small paint imperfections. Will be a matter of days before you see more of them it’s meant to be driven on the road not to have a perfect picture
Well you clearly haven’t read any of the comments but thanks for watching
Damn! His beard weighs more than he does.
I can understand your disappointment. You wanted a good car and I brought you a Tesla. 😂
😆😆😆
Would never accept that on a brand new car unless you bought it from Alibaba or Aliexpress. For 50 grand... I would expect nothing else then a clean paintjob.
My god does ultra red look good on that new model 3p 🤤 those spots look easily fixable with a light buff.
They tried. See the comments for more info if you wanna know the details.
Reject
That's an easy fix. Should get a ceramic coating anyways any mediocre Detailer could make them look nice just means there's quite a bit of clearcoat on there
When I got my 2022 Model 3 Performance, I checked the car for defects and it was pretty much OK, but not perfect. There were no panel gaps, but I did noticed that the headlights were a bit off here and there, but really, maybe by a millimeter or two so nothing crazy. Same, the passenger side rear door is a tiny bit more open than the rest when closed, but again, nothing crazy. The paint did have issues, the entire front of the car was "polished" most likely by the local Tesla when they received the vehicle. Reason? I am going to assumed it was due to poor delivery/transportation where lots of bugs got into the paint as the car was delivered from across the country. Whoever did the "polishing" better have a good different job because he or she has no clue how to do it. Instead of polishing, it got all scratched up. But considering the car was just fine and the scratches were superficial from not knowing how to polish, I accepted it. Once I got home, I replaced the wheels with aftermarket wheels and tires (I got the Arachnid style staggered), and took it to get nano-ceramic tints. I also got quoted there for a full polishing and ceramic treatment but it was way too much. So, since I have the tools, I just did the polishing myself and used a semi-ceramic wax for the finishing. I saved over a thousand dollars doing it myself and I got about 95% of the scratches off and the car looked ready for a car show, so I cannot complain. After two years, it is time for me to remove the waxing with some good soap and redo the waxing, just being lazy, but will have to do it eventually. Unfortunately, your brand new Model 3 Performance had more than just small scratches, those paint defects are just that, defects, they will not come out because the issue is how the paint finishing was done, and all that is under the clear coat, so you did the right thing by rejecting the delivery. Hopefully the next one will be OK. Good luck!
Good call on the rejection, they really can't make things better; service center tends to make it worse.
These comments are hilarious. It's a brand new car. Wether it's a Tesla, KIA, VW group car... If i buy a new car, the paint will have to be pristine. i love the absurd accusations and downright jealousy type posts because he can reject the car.
People need to stop letting companies get away with this crap. If the cars pannels dont align or paint is crap dont take delivery its simple.
Thank you for your video - I’m about to schedule the delivery of my 2024 ultra red M3 which I have been waiting 3 months for. Your video is reminded me to look for every little detail. We pay a lot of money for this car and it should be perfect.

Sh_t quality is still a Tesla trademark. How does crap like that even make it out of the plant. Ask yourself this: if obvious exterior defects are so easily visible and they still tried to deliver this thkng, how do you think the hidden stuff was put together and checked? REJECT it!
Seems to be par for the course with Tesla in 2024. They really need to work on initial quality. Too many people taking delivery with paint issues, loose parts, creaks and squeaks, panel gap issues, etc...
Par for the course with most all brands in 2024. Audis and BMWs all suffering from a serious drop in quality. My SQ5 was a disgrace
If people continue to excuse this lack of quality control on the part of Tesla, it will never get better. You would never see this on a China made Tesla.
I'd say 'Look, its new, I expect it look new, make it look new, that's what you would do', did you pay? If you did, I'd ask for a few $K off for inconvenience, along with them fixing it to as close as possible to 'brand new' and ask for a complementary ceramic coat ...if they can't, then demand an exchange, but they provide a loaner to you until your new car comes in.
that's exactly what you can expect from a traditional dealer but Tesla will not allow their delivery staff to discount a vehicle. I'll just wait for the next one. It's all good I'm not in a hurry
If you were trading it, they'd point that out and knock several grand off its value; what other issues are there that are more difficult to see?
There were others, but what was shown was enough to make the decision. Hopefully the next one will be on point!
That’s some serious cheddahhh!!!! Looks like a fun game!!!!
😂
Reject it. it might comes with extra problems.
Hands down, ZZ Top is one of my favorite bands and this is one of my favorite songs of theirs. 🎸👍
Those are sanding marks from debris or dust getting into the paint. Every manufacturer has this issue. Have it paint corrected and coated and learn proper washing techniques.
1) $50k is no longer an expensive car 2) none of this should be a surprise with tesla
For 50k I would get a Lexus, BMW, MB, or Audi.
What kind of BMW, MB or Audi do you get for 50k nowadays? Some relatively low spec, boring commuter. This Tesla is actually fun to drive. You need to step up to an M3 or RS5 to compare, and then we are talking alot more than 50k, plus alot more expensive maintenance.
