    Enjoy your trip! As far as whether or not to start a new channel, that's a difficult question. Something we struggled with for a long time, and I'm still not sure if we made the right decision. The algorithm does like it when you stay in your niche. And the new channel that we have is growing fast, but at the same time managing multiple channels can be challenging and we're back to working for free until the new channel is monetized.

    We are considering a trip there in Sept. We will be coming from California. We want to stay on Canadian side. What is the best airport to fly into and what hotel do you recommend?

  • @professionalweekenders
    @professionalweekendersАй бұрын

    I'm sure you'll have a great time! We found it easiest and cheapest to fly into Toronto. It's only about an hour away. From there you can take either via rail, go rail, or an Uber. As for hotels. The two with the best views of the falls are embassy suites and the Marriott. It's been a long time since I've stayed at the Marriott, but I remember it being really nice. We stayed at the embassy suites on this trip and did a video on it, it was nice but they also tried to upsell us to a more expensive room using less than ethical sales tactics. Just be aware that you might get upsold on check in. Do your research on the room before you go and stick to your decision.

    We just booked and paid for a norwegian cruise to alaska. We'd let them pick our flights.. On the day of departure. I freaked out and was able to change my flight two a non stop Seven a m morning flight from saint louis to seattle. It calmed me a little bit, But I am still freaking out because so many things can happen. Our plane is scheduled to arrive at nine thirty a m.. I'm sure hoping we make it! My husband's work would not let him off another day. So, we could come in the day before. I'm praying we make it on time! Surely we're not the only people that have to fly in the morning of.

  • @professionalweekenders

    I think you're right, you are probably not the only person flying in the day of the cruise. But like you said, there's a lot that can happen. If possible best to try to get the day off work and fly in the day or evening before. Good luck! Fingers crossed no issues. Sounds like you're taking the early morning flight. Flights in the morning are the least likely to have issues. Weather tends to be calmer, and you don't run the risk of pilots or flight attendants timing out, or the domino effect from issues earlier in the day.

    I've given up on NCL's flight program. The flights they stuck me on were insane, I cancelled the sir part of my cruise and booked my own flights. It's more money, but I don't have to fly in the cheapest seats. I got a great deal on Delta, and am now flying out in First Class, in 5 days. I also deleted the air part of my October cruise, and booked my own flight. 3-1/2 hours in a tiny seat, would not be fun.

    At this point, I have paid in full and i'm praying to the good Lord to get me there in time. I'm at least grateful that I was able to cancel there. Air program that picked flights for me. I was able to do their new program called "Air Incentive program" Where I was able to get the very first flight out at 7 AM. And its nonstop. So much can happen still I know. I was literally making myself sick with worry, So I just have to let it go for now, just to have some peace. I told my husband we are never, Ever, Flying in the day of again, because I can't handle the anxiety of it. Norwegian booking the flights for me with this air incentive program. Saved me over two hundred dollars. So in the future I could still book through them and come in the day before through this program and save several hundred dollars possibly. We will see. I've never been on norwegian. I am staying on the Sun ship, So we may never sale norwegian again if we don't like it. The only other crews i've done is carnival. There's a lot of bad reviews, But when I went, the food was great lol

    @@jenkayla2492 in my experience, even when they offer the " free " airfare, you can still get a better deal booking it yourself. The promotion they run is usually buy one get one free, but the cost of one is more than the price of two on a different airline. By booking yourself, you're in complete control and you get exactly what you want.

    Another great video! This video reinforced my long-standing opinion of not going to zoos while on vacation time. I have an annual pass to my local zoo, but animals all look exactly the same, no matter where you go. I spend time looking at things unique to where I visit. I dont even walk thru the animal area at Animal Kingdom, unless we have done all the attractions we want to do.

  • @professionalweekenders
    @professionalweekendersАй бұрын

    Thanks, I get your point. I (Lewis) feel very similar. However I also see that different zoos do things a little different and it can be interesting to see that, like the Range Rover imbedded in the glass. Also each zoo may some different types of animals, like in Thailand when we got to see the pandas. Lastly, Christine loves seeing all animals so much that she is excited to go to any zoo. So while we don't travel just to see a zoo or aquarium, we do usually stop once we've seen all the unique things a new city has to offer.

    Thanks for this! Changed mine out today and it went pretty smooth. The only advice I could give is if you have high miles or a lot of corrosion/dirt build up, you might want to have a wheel speed sensor on hand. Mine was fused in and I couldn't get it out without breaking it off, not a big deal though, easy fix. Also, if you don't have help with the parking brake hardware, I found that taking two zip ties and compressing the little spring allows you to get all the components together (although still tricky) and once you have one side in place, cut the zip ties and it will expand and hold. And test fit the two bolts before drilling out the holes, Doorman might have fixed it, mine seemed like there was extra room after drilling them out, should have test fit it first but no loss by drilling them.
