    8:36 Meanwhile me as a kid mastered these clunky controls. Lol. I had no idea how to critique a game or complain. I just got good. Even if the controls sucked I figured it was something I needed to learn to work with.

    I love g shock but the older I get, the more sleek and less busy I want my time pieces to be. Also a big fan of analog over digital. I stopped wearing g shock because of the bulk reason. But I’m an outdoors man though. Work construction so having a tough watch for every day wear is crucial for me. I have many watches. Tissot PRX Powermatic 80. A Seiko. But I don’t dare ware them out in the wood atving or on the job site I bought this model (in back and yellow) because how much smaller it is compared to the other analogs. And the more simple look of the face. This model can actually display digital time as well. Overall it’s a great watch and perfect for what I need. Some of the other analogs are like 57mm. Sheesh!

    The dimensions are really incredible. Makes it hard to put on any other watch when it’s a grab and go situation.

    As a guy who played the hell out of this as a kid, the controls were dope. So fun on ps2. It was probably clunky but I can’t say I noticed at all. The lock on was so fun, the sniping missions, the jet pack puzzles and the fact every level was like a puzzle all its own… and the story will always be my head cannon for Jango, so fucking coooool!!!

    My favorite Casio was not a G-Shock, but built like one.... it was the TRT-110 mud resist, Until I got my new favorite in the mail just the other day and that one is the GD-350, which is a G-Shock... I have a few different Casio's in my collection, but the 350 has taken over as my favorite

    I consider it a great movie. Not a good movie, don't get me wrong. It's a rough movie. But a movie doesn't have to be good to be great. It doesn't even have to be palatable to be great. But to me, there's a certain something that sets it above the rest. I wish Beat Takeshi's role was expanded. He has terrible luck with American movies. But it's a fascinating movie, and you can see how it wants to be more, how it tries to be more, but can't quite manage it. But it still manages to have some iconic moments and some good ideas. Also, don't apologize fir the mnemonic bit. That alone, answering a question I'd never bothered to answer for myself in a relevant video, earned you a thumbs up from me.

    loved the game, wasnt on the hype train until they re launched trailers. Despite the bugs and nearly softlocking the game twice, i really enjoyed the game. It made we want to look more into the lore and genre overall. Awesome Video!

    Johnny Mnemonic is a really good film for what it is... admittedly, it's _very_ rough around the edges with a handful of really weird choices, but it's a very atmospheric movie, I think it sells a lot of the cyberpunk concepts really well and the idea of some dude smuggling data in his brain is really cool. Back when I first saw this, the idea to use random images to encrypt a file seemed odd and nonsensical, nowadays, there's companies using video-feeds of lavalamps for that exact purpose, so that's baller. It's not a movie for everyone, but if you're into cyberpunk, it's definetely worth a watch.

    I WANT ROOM SURVICE!!! that whole rant chefs kiss also it was 95 the only good cgi that year was Toy Story and maybe ghost in the cell what did they want?

  • @breadballer
    @breadballer2 ай бұрын

    From what I read it seems they thought the CGI was too “video game looking” in style. Also they weren’t really buying the movie’s vision of what the “future internet” looked like. I think part of the problem was most found the plot uninspiring and the CGI failed to salvage.

    Bought one of these in the UK in yellow fifteen years ago. Always kept charged with only indoor light. Battery/capacitor finally went flat last month. Fifteen dollars for a new one, ten minutes to install, up and running again. Still on the original strap. Indestructible. Waterproof. Accurate to the second, always. And...it's yellow. Who wears a yellow watch???

    You should do more videos on references to other cyberpunk genre movies in cyberpunk 2077 cuz I had no idea this existed, and the game is chock-full of obscure references.

  • @breadballer

    I’ll definitely think about it. Maybe the ones that are more referenced on the nose. There’s a ton of movies in the cyberpunk genre that could be worth talking about.

    Love your videos mate. I like how you include both the reviews at the time of the release and your sources at the end. I agree with the Snake garbage level being the most difficult, I hated it so much. For me this game along with SWBF and The Spongebob Squarepants Movie Game were my most played as a kid on PS2.
