  I saw them live in a small club in my home town of Wolverhampton the Lafayette in either late 77 or early 78 can't remember which.. They hadn't long started their career.. The single Can't stand losing you had just been released at the time I saw them

  Mic was in a band called Universe and was "borrowed" by Europe for the Wings of tomorrow tour. He was not an original member. Levén on the other hand was. Someone needs to do some fact checking here.

  Paul Wheatbread is very much alive. Kerry Chater passed away in 2022. The rest of the original band are alive.

  @@drumsport Kerry passed due to complications from COVID. He also had heart problems that exacerbated the quality of his health. I knew him personally & he was a real sweetheart who loved his fans.

  Anderson did disband Tull in 2011. He picked new musicians and started it back up in 2017. Unfortunately none of the members from the glory days of Tull, like Martin Barre, are in the mix now. The new lineup should be called “Ian Anderson and friends”. It is NOT Jethro Tull.

  @@philbrown1474 Completely wrong, most members recording the 2012 Anderson album Thick As A Brick 2 and the 2014 Anderson album Homo Erraticus were in the 2011 Tull lineup already. Anderson decided to use his own name for a few years, then used the Tull moniker again. The distinctive Tull sound was always there. In 2011, the position of the guitarist had already been shared by Barre and Opahle, who worked on the following albums until The Zealot Gene in 2022.

  You`re information is wrong. The Searchers decided that they would do a retirement tour in 2023, but as it was so successful, they decided that another farewell tour would be good. In fact I have tickets for their performance in Inverness, Scotland in two weeks time.
