Bought a 2109S in 2016. Junk! Blew fuse on the slide out first time out. Had to manual the thing back in. The sofa is pleather and is dissolving. The trailer box was loose on the frame. The nuts were not tightened and were very loose. The kitchen storage drawers are crap and will not stay closed. So, have to use hooks and a bungee cord. One of the drawers under the bed fell off the runners. Screws just backed out. The medicine cabinet came off the wall and we found it on the floor in front of the toilet. Amazing that the glass didn't break. The exhaust fan over the stove quit due to a wire coming loose on its own. The plastic screws holding the stove cover broke. The outside rubber molding became brittle and fell off even though the unit stays under a tight shed. The roof was leaking due to big cracks in the sealant. On and on and on.

I love the bedroom with a lot of natural light. And the exterior looks gorgeous. But I feel like this one is missing too many things. 1. The rear windows which should give panoramic view, but they are too small. Look at North Trail 271RL, or outdoor Timber Ridge 25RDS, they have huge windows. Maybe that’s the limitation of acrylic windows. I'd rather seeing different types of windows there if acrylic windows cannot be bigger. 2. The counter space in the kitchen is very limited even with the two flip-up tables. I don’t even see a place to put a coffee maker there. I want to leave my rice cooker, coffee maker, and hot water pot on the kitchen counter while camping. 3. The dinette is on a platform. It eliminates possibility of adding the 5th person on the opening side. 4. No pantry in the kitchen. 5. The wrong position of sliding door. If you close it, the guests or kids who sleep on the dinette cannot access the bathroom. Maybe, they should move the small table in the bedroom to between the stove range and refrigerator. So the order should be, from right to left, the stove range, small table/counter which can be used as extra counter space, refrigerator, pantry, and sliding door so that guests can access the bathroom even when the door is closed. Also since it has a very nice space at the back, I would suggest replacing the bulky rocker chairs with skinnier swivel recliner chairs and adding flip up or static bar counter tables under the windows so that you can face outwards to enjoy beautiful outside scenery. It’ll be a great spot for breakfast or working. I'm looking forward to seeing a lot of improvements in 2025 model.

Nice trailer, but since they were bought by REV group Lance has significantly cut back on the quality of their upholstery/cushions.The totally rectangular cushions in the dinette are the prime example. I checked the Western Campers web site. The MSRP on that trailer is just under $90K. They say call for price, but based on the prices for other units I would say that is a $70K+ camper. Definitely not cheap. Personally if I was looking for a Lance I would buy a used one from 2017-2019 vintage before they effectively doubled their prices. Why, well here in Maine every year we have to pay excise tax based on MSRP when we register a trailer and get plates. In the first year that tax is 2.4%. After 6 years it bottoms out at 0.4%. so that trailer would cost about $2,200 to register the first year and after 6 years would still cost $400/yr. An older Lance would have an MSRP under $50K, so annual registration/excise tax would be under $200. Plus from the looks of the trailers, the older Lance rigs are better built.

You are not alone with the recliner problems. Our 2022 camper came with two freestanding recliners by the same company. Looked great and the upholstery is easy to clean. After traveling several miles we found loose large screws in the trailer when we set up camp. We were of course concerned as to where these large screws came from. Thoroughly checked everything on rv and couldn’t find the source. Then we sat down in the recliner and it was very wobbly. Within a short time the same thing happened and the other recliner was wobbly. We had had them less than 6 months. I’m glad these are not in newer trailers. They really do fall apart quickly and too easily. But they look great…just don’t sit in them. My husband is 6’1 and I am 5’2”. Nether of us are heavy so these recliners should have held up for much longer. Glad to know we’re not alone in this. Enjoyed your video. It’s very helpful and informative
