Question, do you know if Laporte county is testing as usual on Saturday? I’m asking because I should be in the area. Also, do you know if St. Joseph Penny is going to be testing this Thursday if they’re canceling due to Independence Day?
@weatherstormlordstudioss La Porte County should be testing since it's the 1st Saturday, I would not chance St Joseph County especially being a holiday. I recommend to find a email and contact them to confirm
Man that's an awesome sound to hear
@amtrak3501 it was my first time hearing in person as well! It definitely made the video way better. The bells still ring while gates down!
It sounds great. I’m very happy that this thing works again. I had fun with you today.😁👍
@northernindianaoutdoorwarn9698 Thank you for letting me know about the DC is back up and running, and the tones! Same we need to meet up again!
filming this tmrw!!
Glad we got to meet! Sad the eclipse was a bust
i like the blue 4004
I caught cp 8145 with a p3 horn in february 2024
Nice p3 horn
I agree, thanks
Train 🚂🚃🚃
Is thing sounds amazing I need to record this beast😌👍😁
I was excited to hear it do wail! I got what I asked for, and I hope to see you come out and hear this!
Every 2nd Tuesday at 12:00 pm (High Noon) EDT, is when Louisville, Kentucky sounded all Tornado Sirens, all of the sirens did the Alert Tone only.
Nice catch on the double decker South Shore😁👍
Thanks noah!
Neat
This might be its last trip. It got involved in a crossing accident later on down the line and 57 now looks even more rough for wear. It's not too bad of damage, but we'll see if Amtrak ends up fixing it.
Hopefully, it does get fixed up. Did the accident occur recently? I'm going to look for an article
@@nwi_cordell_iii6270 It would've happened with the next 24 hours after you shot this video. I don't know where it happened but I saw another video where the train was being towed by a BNSF ACe in Texas.
@@TommyBNSF Damn! okay thanks for info
Yeah, last time i recall, I couldn't get tones either Great video man Bill
Appreciate it!! I'll need to try and find a different frequency to test next month hopefully!
fire alarm expert might've figured out the tones. I attended the test today, the 10 rpm SRN:DC at Sheppard park
I drove by Sheppard Park today. The games were going on, and the park was busy, I went home and did the ambiance. I was hoping LC do attack this month.
Question, do you know if Laporte county is testing on Saturday, April 6? I’m asking because I plan to be up there.
Yes, 4/6/2024 is the first Saturday of April. They will test 11 am Central Time, and I would personally go as long as the forecast is clear.
@@nwi_cordell_iii6270 i’ll be in Michigan city, I think I’m gonna try for the triangle just outside Washington Park
Was waiting lol
Yes 😂
God that street light so ugly
Yeah it is lol. Signs of updating need to come
Mmmm love those bells
Oh yes, the ol classic Mechanical Bells
Man that can scream!
She can lmao. Dat echos during wind up. This would sound lit in Attack
Nice I'm a hossier and this is a cool siren!
Same back!! I agree
Siren starts at 0:21
I caught this exact train in Chesterton, Indiana on the same day. I was wondering what the lead locomotive was, because the P3 on it sounds so different than any other P3 I've ever heard. To my ear it almost sounds like it's tuned differently. In fact, it sounds a lot like the P3s I hear in videos of trains in Brazil. I'm not sure if their P3s are tuned differently but that's what it sounds like to me. Great catch!
Thank you!!
Very creepy Love it.
Yes I am totally glad I recovered this video!! I wiped out my phone recently , I wish I remembered the date it was taken. It was an amazing ambiance for being 2001 SRNB's I think the wind and rain made it sound better !
🔥
Thanks!!
Executive train?
Geometry train W003
I don't understand what that means
It's November already? :P
Oops, lol I'll go ahead and change that it was January 2nd
@@nwi_cordell_iii6270 Shit happens.
Nice Catch!
Thank you!! It was great to see!
nice video! but you might wanna check the title and fix the date😐
Thank you, I took care of that just now lol.
Awesome eclipse I have yet film one yet
Thank you Noah!! They are mighty loud I'm glad there was a 3 minute alert, I think it depends on the city how long they test for!
awesome video!
Thank you for the support!! It was a very cold wind that day, EMS asked what I was doing lol
wait, what happened???
Thunderbolt 1000T has been removed, now a 2001-130 in place
@@nwi_cordell_iii6270 is that a type of siren??
:(
Hopefully the Olivet Nazarene T bolt is still there. I would imagine so, but it's a shame that this is a goner. Next time I go out there I'm going to look to see if that TBolt at Nazarene still there..
Also Aroma Park FD is now a Eclipse siren, i saw it going by. I did not look to see if Model 7 was removed, but there js a eclipse now what i saw

I had done a video of a Federal Signal 2T22 located at Nelson Hornbeck Park in Fairdale, Kentucky in November of 2009 on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 12:00 pm Eastern Time, It lasted for 4:25 (4 minutes 25 Seconds) From Wind-Up to Wind Down even caught the Stators spinning after Wind-Down, The only tone sounding from the Siren was the Alert Tone, Originally the 2T22, 3T22, Model 2, Model 5, & Finally the Thunderbolt 1000, Thunderbolt 1000T, & Thunderbolt 1003 were also used by the Volunteer Fire Departments for Fire Runs, (Fire Calls) that would be turned in to the Fire Department Dispatcher, so the correct Fire Department could be called out for it, also they would sound a tone for the Noon Whistle (Monday- Saturday), 1:00 pm (Sunday).
Awesome video! How many trains run on this line per day now?
Maybe about 25 a day I would say, it really depends usually. Overnight is usually the most busy and consistent and the evenings around 4pm-6pm on week days usually pretty consistent.
This was before you picked me up from work
Yes, it was before work
The ASC T-124 makes fly the water tower with a super tornado
Whare is that
Portage Imagination Glen Park
My stomach exactly 22 minutes after Taco Bell
Definitely American made siren Right there 😁🇺🇸
100% American made, the flag made the siren look great!
👍 I also recorded this one.
I saw your video on it! That's how I found out Odell does Noon Blasts! It went off at 12:02
Ok that sounds creepy in the woods
Fr
Nice work i the water tower shot and the clouds
Thank you! I appreciate the comment
Alert Attack Fire Signal that is so cool
I agree, That was awesome! I didn't know Porter County does fire signal but I wasn't sure what that was at the end.
A Q/B combo! interesting.
awesome!
Thank you, it was fun!!
Sounds like a Siro-drone.. Nice!
