I appreciate the advice. I plan to take the 16-80mm, 23mm F/2, and the 10-24mm (with XPro3) to Scotland this month. My only worry is I have a night photo tour of Stirling set-up. Would I be better off taking the 16-55 2.8 and sacrifice the reach of the 16-80mm, ignoring the weight difference?
@Racsophoto Жыл бұрын
I bought the 16-80 this week just for travel photography. I do have the 23mm f/2 and honestly, I do struggle sometimes to get those acceptable night shots with it so, I would not buy any f/2.8 lens expecting amazing night photos too. I’ve chosen the daily extra zoom reach of the 16-80 over the f/2.8 of any other zoom lens that I’m sure that will not serve me well at night anyway. If the deal is bokhe that’s another story but night photography with 2.8 I’m not convinced, rather a cheaper prime. I bought a mitakon f/0,95 manual focus and serves me well on that occasions. That’s my humble opinion but there’s no right or wrong on this matters.

@albertsmith93152 жыл бұрын
I've been going down the KZread rabbit hole for all things fujifilm 18mm f/2 since I just got one, and so your video popped up. Please consider increasing the duration of the displayed images. The video plays for many seconds showing the setup, and then the actual photo is on for such a short time that you can't really "look" at the composition, the colors, the rendering before it is gone. There is an annotation of the exposure data, that if read will assure that you won't have time to even look at the photo before its gone. Thanks.

I bought an X-T1 and a 18-135 zoom for about 600€ for that price i have one of the sharpest super zooms on the market, image stabilization in the lens, all weather sealed system (body + lens), that's the perfect combo for anyone wanting to do serious photography on hikes like me I mean if I was buying brand new, the closest thing would be either an Olympus OMD EM-10 IV with a couple of lenses, a Canon M50 (mark 1 or 2, no difference for photography) or something like a Sony A6100. none of these have weather sealing, nor do they have a huge EVF like the X-T1 does. Hello , when you use phocus, does the software require you to convert the file to a tiff before working it?
@jean-claudemuller31993 жыл бұрын
Phocus is a RAW software. When importing in Phocus desktop RAW files from camera named 3FR it converts them in Phocus RAW filesnamed fff and the editing treatment is done in RAW and saved in RAW fff files. Phocus Mobile 2 on iPad works directly with 3FR camera RAW's and saves them as edited 3FR files. In Mobile 2 edited 3FR files can be imported in Phocus Desktop as fff files with or without previous iPad 3FR editing. After Phocus editing you can export files as TIFF or JPEG or print directly.

So glad you chose my country to travel to. Since 2017 i shoot Fuji. First XT2 with 18-55 kit and then XH1 with 50-140 and 10-24. I'm in doubt to replace the kit 18-55 with the 16-55 (for the extra quality) or the 16-80 (for the extra zoom). The extra zoom i mean, when shooting weddings i use to shoot full body and then in the same second i do a portrait of each guest and with the 18-55 i have to go a few steps forward and then back. I'm really in doubt.
