I've played a handful of times. I'm a good athlete who has played all the other racquet sports. I've learned the strategy of the game and my game isn't that far below this level. I could play with these guys and not completely embarrass myself. I could not say that about any other racquet sport I've ever played. Pickleball is just too easy.

This game is fairly new. Announcers explain the game scoring. When we reach this score, it will be game.

TBH the very 1st time that I heard the word “Pickleball “ was 7 months ago and I’m 58. I’ve been playing for six months now and addicted to it. On top of that I’ve met so many wonderful people, Pickleball is fun, healthy and competitive.

Both Ombrezo and Hughes were using mostly arm powers majority of the time ..most especially during in short distance. Seems to have no control with their swing to causing the ball to go out. There are incoming low ball that are needed to be reset for dinks. Finesse is also important not just to bang with power on every shots. There are many technique shots that are lacking need to work on to be in control of shot in various situations. The uncertainty of their returns that would land midway strength to be given to oppon ents as an easy put away. There are only 2 types of returns to make Third shot drop into the kitchen or net high Third shot drive. Lastly, stability and movement efficiency with feet positioning to move the entire body as One unit that need to be intact and in control to get better shots. Just a few pointers I need to make that I observe during the match.

It’s good to have coverage of this event. You’re doing a pretty good job with the commentary. On problem is it is sometimes difficult to understand the judge when he’s calling the score. Your display on the screen shows the player’s names but the score is off the screen too far to the right. In my opinion, both of you guys were way off on Tia’s play in the semi-final with her partner Mayur vs Grewal/Kao. One of her shots down the line past Grewal, the judge thought it was in, you guys called it out and so did the line judge on the other side. Tia was bewildered, because it was WAY IN! Tia very well may have not been the worst performing player in that match. I think she was very impressive though out that match. Plus it can be very deflating to one’s play when you have a partner that is going too far into his partners space for a simple return which then leaves his territory wide open. Fortunately Tia is most likely humble enough to accept criticism even when it is unjustified. If Tia reads this, you did great and will have plenty of people wanting to partner with you. Congratulations

as a surfer it's kinda funny seeing all these tennis elitists seethe about 'skill' and 'difficulty'. Don't worry yourselves so much, to normal athletes that engage in extreme sports ur all pussies. Ps. this is only applicable to those seething, to my other fun-loving people who want to simply have a good time, good looking!

Every time when I’m seeing people play this I’m just thinking why don’t they hit the ball to the back of the court? Like lifting in badminton, literally every time I see someone playing pickleball they are at the front court all the time
