  Great review! I'm debating getting on of these but torn between the 21 and 32 oz. I like the idea of the bigger one but also dislike the idea of carrying a huge bottle around all the time feels like it could be annoying and heavy 🙈

  Thank you for watching! That’s why I have both😄 I’d go for the 21oz if you’re gonna carry it around a lot. The only downside is obviously the amount of times you have to refill it. But that can also be a positive thing if you’re sitting behind a computer all day. That’s my experience, anyway. Whatever you do, I think you’re gonna be happy with either one. Good luck!😃👍

  Definitely! Being able to connect it would have made it perfect though. Especially for people who only wish to use Google Home as their smart home platform. That being said, I only ever check the Nest app when it sends me a notification whenever something’s is up or to let me know it successfully tested itself. Because if there’s one thing it’s good at, is giving you a peace of mind.

  Hi! I haven’t tested this myself, but a P&G employee commented “Also, it's worth noting that the iO Sense will work with iO7, 8, and 9 handles as well. But they don't offer the charger on its own right now unfortunately.”

  Hey, thanks for chiming in! I was kinda hoping they'd drop a charger stand that's also a power bank, compatible with all iOS devices. Imagine not having to stick the charger in the wall all the time but only once every fortnight. Plus, how cool would it be if they made one with a USB end? Talk about energy saving!

  Thank you for your kind words! This model only uses special iO Series brushes. So I’m sorry to say existing, classic brushes won’t be compatible. Hope this answered your question. Take care!

  totaly waste of money, I have io6 and io8, all same brushing power from 4 do 10. Instead 4,5,6,10 are newer models then 7,8,9 which are from 2020. I never use app, thats sound for brainless probably:D Just buy cheaper one and brush your teeth normal without holding phone or looking at charging stand:D Buy anything else for couple hunderd bucks which you saved

  The phone tells you what areas you got and if you apply the right pressure and what areas you need to go over agian it's better for people who have cavities or who needs better brushing

  That’s a really good question! I didn’t test this, so I’m not a 100% sure. It doesn’t seem to be compatible. When I look online for a replacement docking station for the io9, it says it’s compatible with the io7 and io8 as well. But nothing about the io10. Sorry I couldn’t give you a conclusive answer. Next time I make a toothbrush comparison video, I’ll make sure to test that as well. So thanks for the tip!😃👍

  @@TechNovelTieshonestly I love Mous and will continue using their cases but this mount was a failure. Mine lasted 6 months before the suction cup broke away from the mount itself. I had the Mous limitless 2.0 mount back in the day which was actually insane build quality, a stupidly thick suction cup and metal construction it lasted forever and stuck to anything. This one only stuck to my windscreen (I tried tiles for use in the kitchen and it wouldn’t stick) but it still broke. I’ve filed a warranty claim but honestly I’ll probably request a refund because it seems this is a common issue as they don’t make them anymore

  @@TechNovelTies yeah honestly it caught me by surprise, I’d noticed it getting looser recently but thought it was because of the sun (I’m in the U.K. so it’s not crazy hot or anything) but today I pulled my phone from the mount and the mount came with lol I’m sure they’ll sort it for me, it’s just a shame

  DO NOT BUY ANY OF THEIR PRODUCT LINE. I bought one for my wife and in about a year the puck started falling out and eventually got damaged. She emailed the company and one of their representatives said yes they know about the puck issue and that it is a manufacturing problem with the threading on the puck. He said he would try to give her a replacement cup at first but eventually said the 100 day warranty had expired and couldn’t give her a replacement. So the company knows about the issue and still refuses to stand behind their product. DO NOT BUY FROM A COMPANY LIKE THIS THAT ONLY CARES ABOUT SALES AND WILL NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT.

  Thank you for this video. It helped me decide which one of the two to buy. Interestingly, in my country the reviews and ranking of the io9 are higher than the ones of io10. In addition, the price point for io9 is 406$ whereas the price of io10 is cheaper - 330$. I also came accross malfunction complaints of the io10, so I decided to go for the io9.

  You don't need the app or the stand, just the pressure sensor. It's not hard to know whether you've brushed all your teeth or not, but maintaining the correct pressure is more of a challenge which the brush can deal with alone.

  I have a series 7 and never use the Bluetooth and tracking. If you already have a brushing routine that is at least 2 minutes like me then the timer is pointless. Plus if you then clean it while running it adds time so the recorded time is inaccurate anyway. The tracking lags on all models or so I'm told so it's better to just develop a routine and you will never use the connected features. The best features are present on most models . Mainly a truly usable pressure sensor are on ask models (unlike others brushes that only trigger when pressing a ridiculous amount.), a sensitive mode, and a display showing the modes (on series 5 and up). If you don't need a super sensitive option found on the series 8, 9 and 10 then just go with the series 5. The only thing missing is the magnetic charging which mean's a little extra cleaning on the bottom of the brush.

  Can you use this without the app, minimal tech? I just want to brush simply with a good clean (settings on the toothbrush itself). Then every few weeks charge it.

  Yes, that’s definitely possible! You might consider going for a lower version of the iO Series though, because it’s mostly the 3D teeth tracking, the app, and the iO Sense charging station which makes it different and more expensive than the iO Series 8 or lower.   Hydratespark refuses to support their app. It’s been broken for 2 months. If you’re buying the bottle to achieve goals and be awarded fake awards. DON’T buy. Support claims “server issues” but after two months no change sadly.

  That’s really annoying. Strangely, I haven’t experienced the same issue with the app. I use an iPhone and live in Europe. No idea if that makes the difference.
