I actually have a bit of a meta question. I keep hearing that the english version of the lightnovel is really bad but... why? And are the translations in different languages better? I have read the first three Volumes in german and was perfectly fine with it, but am wondering whether to actually buy the remaining novels in english, or wait for the translation in my native tongue in hopes for a better translation. Also since i perhaps caught your attention, another question. In the Scene in Season 2, Ep. 5 where Solution was ordered by Sebas to heal Tuare, it very much so looks like Solution is going to first torture her to have her fun before healing her. What exactly happend there and do the NPC's sometimes not follow each other commands like they would with Ainz? Really makes me curious about the interaction between NPC's.

Love your work and appreciate everything you do. Next Q&A: Do you think that in volumes 17 or 18 Ainz could potentially visit the Dragon Kingdom and learn about wild magic from Draudillon Oriculus? Her great grandfather the Brightness Dragon Lord did teach her about wild magic and even about other dragon lords like PDL and the most powerful wild magic spells they could use. Ainz can learn that wielders of a world item are completely immune to wild magic. The information could also help him figure out how PDL was controlling the armor and the abilities he displayed in his fight with Pandora’s Actor. He could also get some information about what PDL is truly capable of with his real body to help him prepare for when he does eventually kill him. I kind of theorized a bit.

I think something to remember for the question at 3:44 is that the dragon emperor specifically targeted world items with that "ritual" he did but because of a mistake, the world items also brought players or buildings in there vicinity with them (also with being scattered within hundreds of years between each arrival), thus any player regardless of level can be brought into the new world. As for the question at 7:10, I believe Clementine's body could have been stolen by that the Slane Theocracy, since they were looking for her and they would have the means to quickly know about it and quickly retrieve her body. But it's just my theory. For the question at 13:26, a big reason that NPCs cannot level up is that their levels were connected to the guild base. From what I remember, a guild base would come with levels that the members can use to create and level up their NPCs and if they wanted more levels to use then I believe they had to buy the extra levels for their guild base since I remember the members of ains ooal gown becoming annoyed at Tabula since he was using a lot of the guild base levels for his creations (I don't remember where I got that info from). If anyone can expand on or correct what I said then please do

I am a new subscriber here. In Overlord, the 8th Floor is full of mystery and one of them is Rubedo. Albedo once talked about her with Ainz and stated about switching her on or something, and she may be dangerous to Ainz if she rebels. Can you give us your insight about the 8th Floor inhabitants including Rubedo? Even if it's not canon.

I just assume Ainz secretly had Clementine's body taken in fear of resurrection magic and someone finding out the Momon is Ainz's secret identity. Also the study of the body itself for secrets to martial art technique that did not exist in yggdrassil

Some of the very best videos are the Q & A videos, I learn far more from them then just browsing the internet. Heck, many times there are questions asked that I either forget or would have missed because I am not looking at things from a particular point of view or angle, which makes it well worth it alone. Thanks for answering my question on One Piece. That is a understandable reason for not making any videos on it for some time and as they say, time is a priceless commodity, once it is lost you can't get it back. So always try to spend it wisely. For many years I was the only one in my family that watched anime. A year ago I managed to finally convince my younger sister to sit down and watch some anime with me while she was visiting me since we only see each other every so often. I managed to get her hooked and now we talk about it and share it all the time which has definitely made things more fun for us. I thought it was pretty cool when you brought your sister in and tested her knowledge with some Overlord questions. So what are the chances of you bringing in your sister for another video or perhaps a different friend / family member? The joking and banter you 2 had with each other reminded me every bit of when my sister and I go at it and it is always a lot more fun now that we both watch anime.

Just wanted to say the reason I asked my second question is because in the light novel when Ainz was about to go in the mausoleum before fighting Shalltear, he said he had to remove all all the extra rings of Ainz Ooal Gown from his inventory box because they still counted as being on his person and would cause the Avataras to attack him. So I wonder if that also applies to having world items in your inventory box?

As the running theory goes, the Emperor Dragon Lord summoned the world items to the New World, and every century or two they arrive along with their surroundings. Do you think that these summoned world items, players, etc. are brought only to the main continent where we explore in the series? Or do you think that they are sent all over the world, and there could be tons of other players dotted around on different continents?

Not a question on the Lore, but on a specific Volume. I can't remember if you have read or not the Bonus Volume (The Vampire Princess of the Lost Country)? If so, can you briefly tell your viewers what you thought of it, and what was your favorite aspect of this alternate story of the Supreme Ruler? This Volume is oddly one of my favorites, and like many Overlord fans, I'd wish the author would write a sequel to it down the line. Sadly, it was only available (limited) to the Japanese audience, so many fans like me had to do with the fan-translated version online. Nonetheless an awesome read, that I'm sure inspired many fans to write fanfictions themselves. Have a great day! 😉

Question If New-worlders can meet the requirements to unlock job classes like Paladin, by being “a knight who physically expressed the justice they believed in” (Overlord Volume 12). And classes like Curse Knight, by being a warrior who was cursed. [Leinas Rockbruise Character Sheet.] Do you think it is possible for New-worlders to unluck world classes, more specifically [World Champion]? This is not mere conjecture on my part either. New-worlders like Gazef Stronoff, who won the Kingdom’s royal martial tournament and the Empire’s Grand Arena champion, Go Gin, were able to unlock the [Champion] job class. Naturally, as both of them are champions, who won tournaments and stood undefeated, they boast the [Champion] job class. But therein lies my question, if a tournament was held between the strongest individuals in the world could the winner unlock the [World Champion] job class? (Gazeff - Volume 5 Character Sheet) (Go Gin - Volume 10 Character Sheet) We know that a player was required to win 1 of 9 developer-sanctioned tournaments to obtain the world champion job class. But, hypothetically speaking, if Nazarick were to host a World tournament within the new world. Do you think the winner of the tournament being an actual world champion, would unlock the [World Champion] job class? I say this because new world there's classes seem to generally match their professions. A mercenary would have the [Mercenary] job class, a Thief would have the [Thief] job class and so on and so forth We know that world classes exist, and we know that new worlders can unlock them. True Dragon Lords like Cure Elim Los Malvar (ECDL) and Tsaindorcus Vaision (PDL) have the job Class of World Connector. World Connector is probably a wild magic class held by every true dragon lord, so not sure how much weight that holds. Please let me know what you think. I put a lot of effort into formulating this question and would like a thoughtful, intellectual response . Not trying to be rude, it's just something that's really been on my mind.

They could, but it depends. Fluder might be turned into an undead, as Ainz once explained that resurrecting the Lady of particular holiness (vague for spoiler purposes) without a sufficient amount of material can turn her into an undead. In the same situation, without the sufficient material needed to be a living immortal, Fluder might instead become an undead immortal

From what Ainz said, resurrection doesn't affect lifespan so if he resurrected someone who died of old age they would probably die again soon after.

Is level 100 the overall cap of the new world, or with enough time can Ainz reach something like lvl 150 or 200? And could the floor guardians individually defeat PDL?

It's impossible for players and NPCs to reach past level 100 but there is an exception to this by equipping items made with wild magic. An example would be if one of the guardians wore Gazef's ring, their level would increase past level 100. Also The Dragon Emperor (father of PDL) was above level 100.

My theory on why the Nazerick NPC can't level up is because the mechanics for increasing NPC levels in Ydrassil was by Players paying their own EXP to create or alter guild NPCs. So now that those systems don't exist in the new world Ains can't pay exp to level up Nazerick but they can theretically learn some of the new worlds abilities like Martial Arts.

Question If New-worlders can meet the requirements to unlock job classes like Paladin, by being “a knight who physically expressed the justice they believed in” (Overlord Volume 12). And classes like Curse Knight, by being a warrior who was cursed. [Leinas Rockbruise Character Sheet.] Do you think it is possible for New-worlders to unluck world classes, more specifically [World Champion]? This is not mere conjecture on my part either. New-worlders like Gazef Stronoff, who won the Kingdom’s royal martial tournament and the Empire’s Grand Arena champion, Go Gin, were able to unlock the [Champion] job class. Naturally, as both of them are champions, who won tournaments and stood undefeated, they boast the [Champion] job class. But therein lies my question, if a tournament was held between the strongest individuals in the world could the winner unlock the [World Champion] job class? (Gazeff - Volume 5 Character Sheet) (Go Gin - Volume 10 Character Sheet) We know that a player was required to win 1 of 9 developer-sanctioned tournaments to obtain the world champion job class. But, hypothetically speaking, if Nazarick were to host a World tournament within the new world. Do you think the winner of the tournament being an actual world champion, would unlock the [World Champion] job class? I say this because new world there's classes seem to generally match their professions. A mercenary would have the [Mercenary] job class, a Thief would have the [Thief] job class and so on and so forth We know that world classes exist, and we know that new worlders can unlock them. True Dragon Lords like Cure Elim Los Malvar (ECDL) and Tsaindorcus Vaision (PDL) have the job Class of World Connector. World Connector is probably a wild magic class held by every true dragon lord, so not sure how much weight that holds. Please let me know what you think. I put a lot of effort into formulating this question and would like a thoughtful, intellectual response . Not trying to be rude, it's just something that's really been on my mind.

If someone dies of old age, could you resurrect them? For example, if fluder died of old age, would ainz be able to revive him with magic.

They could, but it depends. Fluder might be turned into an undead, as Ainz once explained that resurrecting the Lady of particular holiness (vague for spoiler purposes) without a sufficient amount of material can turn her into an undead. In the same situation, without the sufficient material needed to be a living immortal, Fluder might instead become an undead immortal
From what Ainz said, resurrection doesn't affect lifespan so if he resurrected someone who died of old age they would probably die again soon after.
Is level 100 the overall cap of the new world, or with enough time can Ainz reach something like lvl 150 or 200? And could the floor guardians individually defeat PDL?
It's impossible for players and NPCs to reach past level 100 but there is an exception to this by equipping items made with wild magic. An example would be if one of the guardians wore Gazef's ring, their level would increase past level 100. Also The Dragon Emperor (father of PDL) was above level 100.
My theory on why the Nazerick NPC can't level up is because the mechanics for increasing NPC levels in Ydrassil was by Players paying their own EXP to create or alter guild NPCs. So now that those systems don't exist in the new world Ains can't pay exp to level up Nazerick but they can theretically learn some of the new worlds abilities like Martial Arts.
Is wish upon a star at the same level as wild magic since it can do anything?
Wild magic is more on the same level as a world class item since world items are the only things that can counter wild magic.
5:00 DDDL was also said to have the advantage against the floor guardians, and that other than Shalltear, his chance of winning was quite high.
