Thanks for the video! I’m tracking my little Janome travel mate with me on a flight next month. The machine is only 12 lb. Did your carry on bag have rolling wheels?

You can zoom in within preview on a Mac. Click on “zoom in” then click and drag a rectangle around the area you want to zoom in on. You’ll see the cursor change to a magnifying glass while you are doing this. I am just learning and the software definitely has a pc feel to it so it often doesn’t act like I’d expect as a Mac user. Once I change my mindset I do better.

I am flying to Seattle with a 25 pound Juki to have it repaired (and to see friends!). I think it's too big and heavy for me to handle as a carry on. I'm a bit nervous! The repair people at SMS in Renton, WA are the best. When the pressure foot lever broke off the back, no one here in Palm Desert, California would help. Since I was planning a trip to Seattle, things worked out perfectly. I plan on putting the Juki in a rolling case stuffed with my clothes. 😊

Wow I don’t comment on videos NEVER, but had to say you are the only video I’ve seen that has been able to get lengthy bias without cutting it diagonal then flipping one triangle on the other then sewing, then folding… etc you know you’ve seen how I’m sure. I can’t believe you aren’t get more traction on the video! Genius tysm for sharing!

If,you put a strip of Nexcare surgical tape on the back of the template, it won’t slide around.

I’ve made this as a baby quilt but with 1 1/2 inch strips and 3 1/2 inch squares. Turned out really well.

How many fat quarters would I need to make the borders on this adorable quilt? Would it be the same for the binding. Thank you for sharing this video. Are there written instructions available?

You did a great job of showing everything. I appreciate the easy-to-read chart for cutting and pairing. Simple and beautiful colors! That's a lot of matching of seams, but it is such a happy looking quilt it has to be worth it. The aqua in the quilt and repeating it in the border is perfect.
