There's a lever on the back of the machine that you can turn to hold up the presser foot.

what is the trick to sewing from the inside through the same hole, it takes me 10 or so times to get it threaded through the same hole.

Another tip: don’t wind a bobbin with the presser foot down if you’re not sewing. It will ruining the feed dogs and the bottom of your presser foot

How is that done? My juki has a knee lifter. It's very hard to keep it lifted for that long. Is there a lever or something that keeps the foot up that I don't know about? How do you do it?

  • @RebelRebel01

@@MomoMakesStuff there’s a small lever on the back side of the machine, directly behind where you thread it.

I brought my blades and followed the video but the blades aren’t cutting! The top one is moving and the lower one doesn’t appear to be cutting anything. Nor the top one. Not sure what’s going on? I checked the blades and they are exactly the same as the old ones. ❤ any help would be appreciated!

A beautiful modern take on your traditional dress! I couldn't help it, I Googled salwar uncut fabric, and I think I might be spending money at Avishya. Also, I totally laser-focused when you cut the front armhole farther in than the pattern. I have to do that, too! I always cut the upper chest a size or two smaller. Neat to see that in another person's sewing without any commentary, because it's just like, yeah, of course!
