I always get so chronologically confused about the Pinball FX series... 😭
TL;DR version: FX3 is the last release using the in-house engine, FX is the reboot using Unreal. It's likely there won't be a new iteration in the next few years. Typically, you'd want to look at release dates, so no worries on that front. FX in Unreal Engine is the latest; FX1 and FX2 are published by Microsoft Studios (hence why non-Microsoft platforms got the Zen Pinball name).

Something like 18 years ago I scored 10 million points in space cadet pinball and I couldn't find anyone online at the time who claimed to have a higher score. I knew it was too good to be true.

Pinball Deluxe is great. I have it on Steam; it's surprisingly good for what it is.
I never got this far on missions I think the most I completed was like 6. This pinball game had a lot to offer as an included game for Windows LOL.
This was back when hearing "real" music and human voices was a big wow factor in games.

Much like games that have a Point A -> B objective (Mega Man, for example, beat the game), there are objectives in different pinball games that can be marked as categories. Fleet Admiral Rank, here, involves lighting all the yellow lamps in the central circle. Maelstrom involves reaching and clearing that mode. That can also double as a Fleet Admiral run, since 8 of the 9 yellow lights, plus all three left target lights, are needed to access it, and the reward is an instant rank up.
Five free balls allowed per game; any in excess results in a mystery score.
This is probably the easiest pinball table that I’ve ever played. In my opinion. Not counting Simpsons Pinball Party, of course

I like the Design of the Table ( Minus the Music and Happy-go-Lucky Sound Fx & Vocals ) . But whats the Deal with the waxed Floor and tilt of the Board? They should go with a More Vertical Full screen View of the Table
Portrait mode for the game does exist, even though I personally don't use it.
I love the mechanic for multiballs on this table, as a multiball will start immediately when you lock a ball, and you can add another ball to the multiball by locking the two balls that are already on the playfield.

I've just been playing this on a 1-ball challange tourny. Very challenging. This table is definitely one if the harder tables.
