Great piece. 👏👏👏👏
Thank you
Enjoyed this discussion, lover of grower champagne, too bad there are few we can get in the states. Paul Bara, and in the Aube, Dosnon, are our favorites.
Jura is hands down my favourite wine region, I'm glad to have come across this video of people also as passionate about the wines of the region.
Un po' di bottiglie me le sono bevute 🤸vino fantastico 😋
Hi does anyone know where this bridge is on the river?
My dream is work in a vineyard I love
Hello, where about can we watch your documentary? It doesn't seem to be available anymore on your website.
Hi Juliette, we recently updated our website and I'm going to upload the full length film to KZread, so I will let you know when it's up there. Thanks very much!
We are lucky to have a winery nearby whose wine maker makes his own amphora, and makes outstanding wines. Still waiting to open a bottle of a Pinot gris that he left for 11 months on the skins, at the first tasting, rose’ in color and more like a a Beaujolais. Portland OR.
Sounds interesting! What's the name of the wine?
@@bottled_films it’s called Beckham winery. In the chehalam mountains
@@andrewkarl5174 ah yes! They came to London last year for the Real Wine Fair. It looks like a fantastic place
This is wonderful video-presentation! The only thing is that music sometimes is too pathetic)
I'm so excited to try this qvevri wine!
I am a keen wine student. Is Meunier for aging or not? I read that Meunier oxidises faster than the other grapes.
Good question! Not sure about this
Congrats! I've seen my father in Gravner! I'll have to make an effort to let my father know him personally. We are producers of natural wines in South of Brazil. Not for the market, as a mission, as a dream of my father. Fantastic!!
Thank you so much for watching! Glad you enjoyed it and best wishes from us
wow, Brazil, sounds impressive. Pity that we cannot currently taste it, I am pretty sure this is a very decent product... Cheers from Ukraine!
She is worth to be recognized as a UNESCO world heritage. Sublime Woman.
Load of crap

Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it!
Vorberg amazing !
Sensational video, Please keep making more
A great man of Barbaresco! Thanks for this
Thanks for this, one of the best interview / discussions on Nebbiolo I have seen. Luca and his family are true superstars of Barolo and Barbaresco
That’s for sure! Thanks for watching
Grower champagne many times is of better quality and better value for money.
Agreed!

I am a recent convert to Natural Wine. I try and share it with my friends, but wine drinkers tend to have their minds made up as to what they like. It's very hard to get them to like new things. I'm sure the Natural Wine industry has to deal with that all the time.
That’s for sure! Wine should be about curiosity and open mindedness. There’s no rule about what you should like and tastes develop with experience.
Narrow-minded... just narrow-minded ;)
You could use the characteristic from the Big 5 Personality Test - Openness to Experience. I expect those who score high on that would prefer "Natural" Wines
Qual o tipo de uva que melhor se adapta a este contato com a casca da 🍊, obrigado
A uva não entra em contato com a laranja, a maceração feita com a pele (uva branca) é q provoca essa mesma cor.
Champagne ❤️
Muito bom suas explicações!!!🍾
Great discussion, thank you.
This was a great discussion. I learnt a lot. Thanks!
Thanks for watching!

Love this topic. Thx
Is there any way you can recap the wines you shared and/or recommend in the comments section so we can attempt to seek them out? Thanks for the great content!
Hi Mark, the wines are listed in the description under the video. Thanks for watching!
@@bottled_films awesome thanks! Any way I can get what Pax Mahle’s favorite sparkling was? Can’t quite make out what he said! Thanks!
Also, make sure to share your website link in the video description. I've spend a few minutes trying to find it ... and it isn't easy. Please make it easy for all of us. Thanks.
Our new website is currently being constructed. Please email [email protected] for any requests. Many thanks for watching!
A superb video about one of my favorite wineries. Taking a strong position on her Granato was one of the decisions that built my career as a retailer many years ago. Going to check on your documentary now. Good work!
Thank you!
thank you for this.
Boom, Christina brings the good stuff!
Seriously, right? Had to back up the video to make sure it was. I’d gladly join that tasting group.
Roagna Pira 2008 got me hooked 😀
Thanks for this master class 😊 about the Jura wine region. I've just discovered it while being here in Paris...someday I would like to go there visit.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Ok
I love it when I happen upon things like this! I must find these wines and try them - are they distributed in the US?
Not sure as we are based in the UK! Let us know if you find them so we can post it here for others. Thanks for watching!
Ottimo vino 😋
how was the pacalet
Hi Gerhard, this is Derek. The Pacalet was delicious! I love Pacalet’s wines. He is famous for his reds, obviously, but his white burgundies are amongst my favourites, and this cremant is full of vibrant energy and ripe fruit flavours. It’s not champagne, but definitely a fun fizz. 80% Aligote with the rest Pinot Noir- not necessarily what you expect but delicious, and would have been great to serve blind in this tasting! 🍾🙈👏🏻
@@bottled_films Hi Derek, thank you for answering. Greetings from Vienna! Gerhard
Dear Derek, are you publishing any more content like podcasts, blogs, etc. where I can follow you? Greetings
@@gerhardtschipan5864 Hi Gerhard, you can follow Derek on Instagram @akerloffwhite and there you will also find out what else he is involved with...
Glad to see the resiliency and adaptation, hope to get back into the BYO Podcast!
Yes they have been amazing and worked very hard to keep their businesses afloat. Thanks so much for watching!
I have 2 magnums I am saving for another 10 years.
I’m sure they will be worth the wait!
Great vid but the host talks too much
Je vous salue depuis Lons-le-Saunier !
you need to promote these videos more. I have watched many videos on Italian wine and this was by far the best. I felt like I was in your company while you spoke and I drank my Italian wine. hope you make more videos. cheers guys
Thank you Alan! So glad you enjoyed it. Stay tuned, we have more planned in the coming months.
@derek morrison - I keep coming back to this video to revisit and pick up nuggets of information. I just love your conversational style. Plus, Pax & Rajat are both winemakers that I adore. I haven't seen anything new from you but hope that as Christmas rounds the corner, you guys put together a "Secret Santa" tasting. I love the ones that you've done in the past.
@thoughtdujour thanks so much for watching!!glad you are able to get something from these older episodes. We certainly plan to pick it up again sometime in the future. London is going into another lockdown but by Xmas, who knows, maybe we can get together again!
@@bottled_films @Bottled Films Well... It's election day here today in the US and we're hoping that an orange turd gets flsued down the toilet, and we have Thanksgiving and Xmas coming up soon too. All the best my friends. Stay safe. Worst case, I'll watch re-runs
Thank you for your explanations. It helps a lot. Thumps up from #CilentoArea #AlburniMountains #SalernoCity #CampaniaRegion #SouthernItaly I suggest you to give a look at the wines of that area, they are lovely, great wines and there are many autochthonous grapes.
Great wine, great info, thanks!
I agree with the way of thinking, enjoyment is first priority. I’ll try their wine asap!
