Hola! You can still learn flamenco. It's not really too late, but please be realistic. A professional career is almost certainly out of the question at this point, but you can learn the art and in doing so, you too will be a flamenco dancer, just probably not professional. But so what? By learning, even on a very basic level, you will gain a deeper appreciation of this, and indeed, any skill or art. You will than gain an emotional connection with the dancers that can than exceed years of highly skilled professional training. I love this video. I think that each dancer is superb. Watching them is like watching Fred Astaire or The Nicholas Brothers. It's exquisite and pure beauty. It seems to be impossible to do, and yet, they did. If you keep an open heart, and balance your desire to learn with honest understanding of your age and its limitations, you may be able to dance flamenco for the rest of your life. I started studying ballet in my early twenties. I was ridiculed and scorned by my family, but I continued for years to take daily class. I never achieved any skill and a career was out of the question, but I loved it, and I still try to do my barre everyday. If you can manage it, study flamenco. I never became angry or bitter because of my late start, and you can enjoy that same gift. If you can't reasonably manage to take classes, continue to watch others dance. When you watch, you train your eyes and ears, and when you do this you are drawn into the performance, and that makes you a flamenco dancer, just not a performer. It's all about emotion. Good luck to you, and God bless.P.S.: As an unusual addition, I would like to add something. All my life I have loved music and art from all over the world. I am a black American woman from New York (born and raised). I was generally expected to like only "black" music, but to this day, I still LOVE classical, opera, country, ranchera, banda La Arrolladora❤ and several other styles.
