I’ve created this channel to log my journey into dressage but also to hopefully inspire those who ride difficult horses that there is hope.

A bit about me?

I’m a 27 year female rider who has ridden for the past 13 years now. I’d class myself as an intermediate rider as you’ll happily see me staying on in some pretty tricky situations with Novel my share horse. I’ve been riding her for the past 3 years and she has taught me so much about complicated mares. Our journey so far has been anything but linear… I love a challenge though and the occasional affection she gives me is enough to keep me besotted with her.

A bit about Novel?

She’s a 15 year old Irish Sports Horse with far too many hormones for one horse. We have done some jumping but she injures herself far too easily so we’ve decided to stick to Flatwork in 2021 and build her up slowly. She competes at Prelim / Novice unaffiliated dressage with our aim of joining the Chipstead Riding Club dressage team this winter.
