from a historical perspective, it is ambiguous... i.e. we don't really know (though Abraham supposedly lived about 4000 years ago). Still, the earliest writings about the Kaaba, by Muslim and Christian writers from late antiquity attribute its construction to Abraham. i have seen people talk on video calls with earphones on and doing tawaf around the ka'aba, like what??? But that being said, some people records and takes photo cause they came here for first time and it's an expensive trip. so that's they take photos and videos of themselves.
