This is about as close as any video I have seen that even comes close to the power and intensity of seeing Mountain Live. Luckily saw them about 4 times between 1969-1971. Every show AMAZING ! Long live Mountain - Leslie, Felix, and Corky. Me and my buddies wore the grooves out of that first album -- in particular "Blood of The Sun" and "Dreams of Milk and Honey." What a GREAT time to be rockin' !

Damn awesome. Im a guitarist and while i actually dislike the "fuzz" variant of distortion, it sounds amazing in the right hands. It works so well here and gives those chords that full rich low frequency tone that you really cant get from a common soft clipping overdrive or hard clipping distortion. I love this

Mountain was always such a paradox. How they could be sort of sloppy/all over the place one the one hand and yet tight as hell and in the groove on the other. Great band, sadly often overlooked. Leslie West flat out rocked.

I actually saw Leslie and Mountain in St. Louis in 1977ish they had cleaned up their sound and they killed . The show stopper however was a slow ballad called " Theme from an Imaginary Western " Leslie played the solo in that song note for note and brought the house down .
