A KZread channel I started when KZread was still new. It's a mish-mash of a whole lot of stuff, so check Playlists to make any sense of it. The most popular content here by far is pro wrestling related, with a midget wrestling TV show I hosted in 1992 being the #1 video. For my more professional side, come see me at Cygnals Multimedia, here on KZread and on the web and socials as @TheMediaHoarder.

In reality, Andre the Giant was recovering from injuries and they made it an angle where he would be suspended. Then Andre when recovered became Giant Machine. Then later on, had the mania 3 match vs. Hulk Hogan.
Nice upload!
ORNDORK SUCKED
Still the ultimate betrayal...Andre turning on Hogan..
Just subbed to your channel
So let's see the original three were Andre, Blackjack Mulligan and Axe from Demolition. Then there was the Hulk Machine, Piper Machine and one or two more I forget and it only lasted a few weeks
I remember these great times...
I remember it to brother lol many moons ago
Is wrestling still schedule for 1 fall
It's assumed to be unless said otherwise. In the territory days, house show main events would often be best two of three falls, and time limits varied as well: prelims often ten or fifteen minutes, going up to 20 or 30 minutes, or an hour for title matches. Having a variety of falls and time limits made things sound official and important right off the bat, and gave more booking options to keep finishes fresh. Need two guys to build some heat? Have a competitive ten minute draw. Maybe they go 20 and draw again. Maybe the next match ends with a quick controversial call with the loser eager to keep going, so return with 2 of 3. The formalities borrowed from pro boxing gave an extra air of legitimacy to the athletic vaudeville of pro wrestling.
This is my childhood all over again.
Can you imagine having had a conversation with Neil like that… then imagine that your stoned out your mind. 😮
"Don't worry about me, I'm clean". Classic Heenan with a touch of Eddie Haskell.
1st machine The Masked Superstar then later Demoltiom.Axe aka Bill Eadie then 2nd machine Blackjack Mulligan aka Bob.Windham & 3rd machine Andre The Giant
Saturday morning wrestling. O how I miss it.
I used to watch MAPLE LEAF WRESTLING in BC Canada at 1:00pm on Saturdays. Friday at 11:00pm was Wrestling CHALLENGE, On saturdays Stampede Wrestling would be on at Noon-1:00, then WWF Maple Leaf Wrestling, 2:00pm was SUPERSTARS OF WRESTLING, There was a break for 1 hour then 3:00-4:00pm was WWF CAVALCADE. Every 3/4 Months SATURDAY NIGHTS MAIN EVENT would be on and IF you Paid $20 a month for TSN you got “WWF ALL AMERICAN WRESTLING”. And IF you had Satellite you got PRIME TIME WRESTLING but I wasn’t Rich so I didn’t get that, TSN I didn’t have but my neighbour let me Record it on VHS as I used to record EVERY episode 1989-1992 in BC Canada
Who was Jack Tunney?
Longtime Toronto-area wrestling promoter who sold out to McMahon as part of the WWF expansion. Vince made him the storyline president of the federation.
August 28th, Hogan vs. Orndorff Roberts vs. Steamboat The Machines vs. Big John Studd and King Kong Bundy...I guess you can call this Summerslam 1986
Couldn't believe black jack didn't revive as black jack would of been better taking off mask and claw somebody
0:32 would have been funny if he said “ Hey, nice ass!”
Remember that speech Hulkster 10 years later about shortcuts brother!!!!!!
Jake Milliman rules
2:22 The first and only time I’ve ever heard Neil play a Latin groove when riffin’ on his kit! … although I do not believe he has ever incorporated this genre of music on a Rush album…
Hey scott what happened to all the videos of tommy morton in blue speedos and maroon speedos in his matches hot as seeing tommy arms across ropes and chops to his pecs so many mstches back then teen hoys in soeedos
Hey, mang. I think all my TPW videos are up here - I've recaptured them for better picture quality and may post them again one day here or on my other channel, but KZread doesn't like me just posting whole shows with nothing added, so it'll likely involve me doing a watchalong.
Core memory
Fall 1986?
Yep. Hot time.
I remember buying one, then some guys in disco looking suits busted into my house and fired upon my player, they called themselves the Ancient Order of VHS and were last seen fighting some randos, a ghost, green skinned man, raccoon and a bluejay
I saw Bundy vs Kamala in Oakland. I thought it would be cool. 2 minutes 2 neutral tackles double count out.
So good
Gord sang this better than gary
Kototenzan not Kototenta lol
DELTA DAWN GREAT BODY
2024 may. Anyone still watching? I still miss him terribly. 😢
Unpopular opinion: Excellent songs on that album. Even more unpopular: even though I own the complete discography, the stuff I listen to most of the times is between 1980 and 1993. Just my taste…
As a child (11 in 1986), I wouldn't have even understood what he was saying. At 49, I roll my eyes at his comments on "our country." brother. Some people probably ate that shit up, though.
you're pretty sad that this promo makes your eyes roll
Awesome!
No because the players were too expensive. The discs themselves at the time actually were beating the price of VHS tapes but VCR's still offered the ability to record. LOL
They are so damn cool. They way they interact w the director - as though they were just background. Love them.
Jack Tunney looking like John Candy
Is that Mauro Renallo the announcer???? Holy crap, I had no idea he wrestled when he was younger. Geeez you really can't judge a book by its cover. Renallo the announcer looks like a non-atheltic, square type lol
Demolition doesn't get the credit they deserve. Awesome tag team chemistry, awesome theme song, and awesome finisher. Former champs and lets not forget the Royal Rumble where they beat down half the roster meanwhile they fight each other too. Put these guys in the HOF. They deserve it. Only the Road Warriros had more clout, but i was digging Demolition more.
Heres the interesting about how rush wrote songs. For neil, face up really was the primary song on this album. That song inspired the rest of the lyrics, its the first one he wrote, it created a loose theme for the album, and sort of represents most of the other songs. It essentially was the title track. Then geddy and alex got to it and it became basically a throwaway filler song, and roll the bones became the title track because it has a cooler title. Had geddy been the lyricist things like this would turned out differently. Another example is lock and key from hold your fire. That really is the title track of that album. Its the first lyrics neil wrote for it, and the instinct aspect of it was the theme of that album. But geddy and alex made it a filler track.
Adrian Adonis lol😂
God Rest & Keep Bobby “The Brain” Heenan… 💐💐💐🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️💐💐💐 I’ve ALWAYS considered HIM THE ULTIMATE Heel… 🫶🏻🙌👍🏻✊🏻✌️🤘🏻💪🏻🙏🖤🤍🩶
March 29,1987 Wreslmania lll Macho Man Randy Savage Vs Ricky The Dragon Steamboat with the ICT on the line was the greatest WrestleMania match. Wreslmania 1 Mr.Wonderul Paul Orndorff, Roddy Piper with Bob Orton Bodyguard "ACE" at ringside Vs Hulk Hogan, Mr.T Super Fly Jimmy Snuka at ringside in my opinion is the greatest storyline with Paul Orndorff turning face. Wreslmania 1 March 31, 1985 will always be the greatest Wreslmania because it was the very first Wreslmania. The greatest finisher Hogan slamming Andre following with The Atomic Running Leg Drop. Andre The Giant passed the torch ending
Dusty Rhodes did a similar angle like this when he was The Midnight Rider
Ax was already 40 years old at the time. Smash was 12 years younger.
Why does the ref interfere with them so much?
Here is a clear version of this theme. kzread.info/dash/bejne/h3ynyKNso8ieorw.htmlsi=sw8gldQ9dSs12ADa
Hot damn! Long time coming, and worth the wait. Wow. Astounding that they'd use a loose jam demo on air like this! Thanks so much for the link. Pinning this.
@@ScottSimpsonyou're welcome, it just turned up in my reccomendations last night so I thought I'd share it here since your clip was where i first heard it years ago.
Andre was shooting a movie
