  I remember living out there in the Brewsters. It sure wasn't like it was now BEFORE they demolished it. I have my first summer job there at the rent office just cleaning passing flyers around the neighborhood and making a some money. I have relatives that used to moved out there. Maybe when they demolished those main one over a Hasten street or whatever street that was. That was in 1991 and build some townhouses on it between 1994 and 1997. Although it was drugs going on which was hiding from us. Otherwise people get thrown out their houses due to unpleasant circumstanses. It was wonderful. The year 1989 when we move out there until after 2001.

  It was actually built in 1924, and became the Harbor Light Salvation Army place for the Homeless. "Midtown" was the "Cass Corridor" by the 1960s.
