  @@thecookingshorts you can record an audio of you reading your text or use a text to speech tool and create automatic captions based on that audio file. Then you delete the audio file and only the subtitles remain

  10/10 this was free and easy. you weren't trying to sell me an editing software. I just needed ONE video with subtitles so I don't want to buy a month long service... and THIS video... ABSOLUTELY PERFECTION!! I used capcut. super easy. create a 4 min 50 sec video with subtitles. EASY. cost me 0$ and no watermarks. wham bam thank you ma'am!

  Guys, you dont need to manually create each caption as a text graphic, select them all and go to graphics and titles and convert them all to graphic.

  5:06 - you can select the captions and in the Graphics and Titles (menu bar up top) you can upgrade captions to graphics :)

  5:07 You don't need to copy the captions to text field-select the captions go to Graphics and Titles (menu bar up top) and click Upgrade Caption to Graphic.

  I'm sorry bro. This is a great video and the intent is nice, but I'm not sure why I'm losing you from :52 - 1:07. I understand you're breezing through to make sure the video isn't too long but you're moving too fast for it to make sense to a user that's never used xD. I hit Control Command Spacebar, but the transition from that screen to getting the emoji's into xD is far from seamless in my opinion. When you say "select the emoji and simply add it to the text" what text are you talking about adding it to and how do you get that in to xD?

  Less than 1 minute in and there's already a glaring mistake. Resolve has the ability to autogenerate subtitles.
