  Great video it’s awsome to see KZreadr from ur home state .in not home able to work on my own projects I’m in Arizona for work .so seeing these videos makes me not lose interest in my projects back home… keep up the great videos!on a side note I need a frame out from under that maroon 4 door silverado 😂

  I was beyond excited until i saw the Predator lmaooo. I have almost the same project in my garage. My 87 Chevy Sprint (Metro's older brother) now has a Mustang 2 Kmember/suspension and an 8.8 rear end in it. Unibody-on-frame so itll be pretty stout. LS 6.0 install coming soon. Working on tubbuing out the rear for drag radials and cutting out the firewall and trans tunnel next. I plan to fab the hump out of roof flashing.

  I'm not sure on the 4l60e. If there's a speed sensor in the tailshaft housing then that's needed for shifting. This old mechanical transmission only has a speedo cable and not needed.

  The different tie rod length will be a problem also. The distance between pivots appears to be longer, so the outer end will not follow the same arc as the spindle, even if the outer tie rod and lower ball joint are aligned.

  Hey I'm converting my 03 ford ranger 2wd to 4wd they said the tailshaft or if idk what exactly is called extension housing ? Is different the 2wd is different from 4wd? Please lmk Where can I get one them made?

  Yes tailshaft is typically longer than 4wd and tailshaft housing will be made to accept a t-case. Easiest thing to do is find 4wd trans and t-case or run a divorced t-case.

Idk but someone by name of Joe said it would work the 4wd extension housing with a 2wd but with an adapter? Or somethin? But I'd like to keep the original tranny but convert to 4wd

  Hey not one moronic comment here in the comments about this thing being worth some delusional amount of money because they saw a 1 of 3 86 Saleen with 600 miles sell at Barret Jackson. Aside from a few super low production cars, these will always be cheap sh*tboxes no matter how bad ya want to believe otherwise, and that what makes them great.

  I had 2 OBS GMC’s in the 70’s. Both std cabs, 4x4’s, 3/4 ton, 350 engines, one full time 4x4 with auto trans and the other with manual 4 speed. Both of them would get 10 mph. Didn’t make any difference if they were idling or running down the road. Also had a 3/4 ton, 2wd, 1983 Square Body that improved a little, getting 11-12 mpg.
