    You could have found a a better name... Something catchy like Guitano. You definitely need a cooler name. And it looks badass tho and sounds amazing I love it.

    If the sound is the same from the rear (albeit 180 degrees out of phase) does that not mean that these need very careful positioning in regards to walls? Does the proximity to walls, coupled with the 30 degree angle (now focussing the sound rather than dispersing it) not need to be taken into account? How does the width of the panel affect the phase cancellation and is this 'tuned' to the panel?

    I picked up a pair of b1’s today and like you, I couldn’t find any reputable reviews to affirm any of my concerns. I’ll tell you first hand that the first song I played (Darkside by Isaiah Rashad) I noticed just how butter smooth they sound. Airy is a good term for the high frequencies. I’m using a 100 watt 2 channel amp that drives them beyond levels most people would find comfortable. About a minute in I realized my subwoofer was not plugged it…I simply didn’t notice its absence. These are very easy to drive and you may need some wall space because these bad boys move some air even at low volumes. I hope this helps!!!

    Love my XT Logans 2 XT60 FRONT, 2 i15’s which alone was great. I wish I could have stopped there, found good deal B&W CDMC and then added REL 10” Subwoofer, and before the wide caught on to my sneaky buying I added another center channel Vienna Acoustics Grand Maestro. Then she said stop it. I said fine but… before you said that I ordered a new Pioneer 10” sub…hehehe.

    I've had the f200 now for about 6 months . I'm driving them with a parasound A21+ amp with Yamaha A6A as preamp. I like to rock. But I've expanded my repertoire and listen to most all music other than rap and modern country. Every now and then the Tweeter will go off into an area that I don't like . But most of the time 90 or so these things sound perfect especially with old school R&B. Cannot beat them for the price

    How do they compare to the old Motion 20i and 40i which, it must be admitted, were much more attractive and better finished than these horrors.

    I don't think your model number naming theory is what people came here for, just a guess...this may be the dullest, most uninformative video I've ever seen...I already knew all of this info before I came here

  • @marknickells6097

    And to make things, even more confusing , YOU ARE using the same DULL box for similar speakers? F1 F2 F100 F200 F100XT, F200 XT? Who thinks this shit up? It's doesn't work.

    I'm lost... Corvettes have Bose speakers. What am I missing?

  • @guiltynessness8926
    @guiltynessness89267 ай бұрын

    They have new finishes for the MartinLogan speakers as part of their supercar collection. One looks like the color of this Corvette which I would assume is why they choose it for their video. This has nothing to do with the car speakers. It has to do with the MartinLogan speaker and his super car finishes.

  • @PG-ip4hh
    @PG-ip4hh7 ай бұрын

    This screams Marketing Faux Pas. We are a good enough speaker to be painted like a hyper car but not good enough to be used in said hyper car.

  • @guiltynessness8926
    @guiltynessness89267 ай бұрын

    @@PG-ip4hh I really don't understand your take. So a company using super car finishes as a paint job needs to have car speakers in a car. While the Corvette is in this video, it's not a Corvette video. It's showing who these paint finishes might appeal to. And honestly, most car speakers are crap. Most luxury speaker companies don't do car speakers. Are you suggesting because a high end speaker company doesn't make car speakers that they aren't good enough to be in a car? Once again though, this is a speaker video that is showing a paint finish, not a car video or car audio. I wish MartinLogan made car speakers though.

    Too much hassle and adjustments to get the sweet spot. If there is a group of many people, only 1 person will get the perfect sound. The rest are going to make do with just average sound.

  • @MrChristerBerg

    So what? Usually there’s only one person paying for, or at least is most vested, in the system/sound quality. Eeyore.

    Who cares? 99% of my friends don't share the same passion for perfection. They can sit in a not to sweet spot and not have any idea that there is a better spot. Most non audiophile people only react to bass. You can always have them take a tour in the sweet seat. My classic 500hp mustang has only 1 steering wheel.
