  I ate there in May 24'. I am from Texas born and raised and have pretty snooty tastes when it comes to smoked meat. This place was the bomb. Delicious. They had a whole rack of different sauces and I tasted them but didn't really use any of them. It was that good.

  My family and I stayed there in June 2024. I've never given a worse rating than this after staying one week. Was suppose to have a transport at airport to pick us up. Twenty minutes later I called the hotel and they said I "had to confirm it". Well when I made the reservation and paid with the box checked for transport and gave all the flight info, isn't THAT confirmed! Two hours later got to the hotel and the girl at reception was trying to tell me about the wifi, password, breakfast, etc. I could not understand one word she was saying. Then I asked for a manager, guess what none on duty. Really, no manager during the week? First got into the room and the website pictures make the room look a lot bigger than it is and the room smelled like pure bleach. Had to get housekeeping to try to fix that. An hour later it was good enough to try to calm down before i stroke out. We paid good money for this garbage dump? The Only good thing was the breakfast, woopee.............. $hithole hotel

  My wife and I just got back from an 8 day cruise on the carnival Dream to the Bahamas. The celebration looks so much better as far as layouts go.

  Around 5 min only but there’s some check point and check in that we need to stop so it took like 10 min maybe.. as far as I can remember, this is the easiest and fastest embarkation we’ve ever done. 😃

  Carnival food is straight trash all of it. I cruised them a few times, gave up, went to NCL for 10-15 years then recently switched to MSC Yacht Club. Unless their prices drastically increase I'm sticking with MSC.

  Thanks for the memories.. Did Mardi Gras a while back with the same buffet. It's quick and easy and very convenient, but honestly thought the Wind Jammer buffet was way better on RC. However, while on the Mardi Gras, we had breakfast in the main dining room, also at no extra cost. It took longer, but thought it was worth it. To each their own. 👍

  I was on the Wonder on a B2B cruise in April and the food was terrible on the Windjammer. Many of the food options were “international” and not very appetizing. I am not a very demanding traveler and I can do with pasta or a hamburger but even those choices were not good. Whatever happened to the great buffet’s in cruise ships? The cruise lines are forcing you to pay for upgraded service. The MDR food was nasty. It tasted like it came in a package and it was reheated and served. I am a diamond cruiser with RCCL and I was very disappointed with the food choices. I did eat at specialty restaurants for 6 days since I was cruising for two weeks and the specialty restaurants are always amazing but not so with the included food choices. I am going to cruise with NCL and Carnival next time!

  @@foodtravelbymarie5166 Yes, I agree RCCL and Carnival are a lot of fun. We just did a B2B on the Mardi Gras and we had so much fun and most of the food was good. Carnival offers more included in your fare than other cruiselines so that's a positive. I guess the food can be sometimes a hit or miss for dinner depending on what you order. However, while cruising is still fun and a lot of value for your money, I have seen a decrease of quality across the board with an increase in the pricing. I used to enjoy RCs old menu's because there were so many classics to make up for dinner if you didn't like what they were offering that day so I miss that. The paid venues are always fantastic across the board. Good to talk with a fellow cruiser!

  I have an opportunity to experience my first ever cruise on Wonder of the Seas in 4 months. Staying in a Junior Suite. From the looks of the Solarium, I will probably be spending a lot of time in a quiet space reading and dipping in the pool/hot tubs! A bar and excellent food? Sign me up!!
