Dont get distracted. Take the high road. They can say anything they want its unpreventable. Your purpose is greater than that. Stay on message. .In the horseshow world abuse has been normalized. You are exposing it and issuing a call to action. Thank you!

Entsetzlich, traurig, grausam. Das arme Pferd.

"While chewing, the lower and upper jaws move only a few millimeters apart, just wide enough to give the tongue room for a slight swallowing movement. Any exaggerated, cramped lifting of the tongue would be a sign of insufficient suppleness; likewise, clamping the mouth shut is an evasion. The head of the horse should find a position that is steady, natural and near the veritcal; tipping backward is an attempt to get away from the bit." Waldemar Seunig "It has been known for many decades that a chewing mouth relaxes the horse's poll (the short head and neck muscles). This mechanism has a biomechanical as well as a psychological calming effect that acts on the muscular attachments of the tongue and the underside of the neck, and a relaxing effect on the poll muscles. In the last century, it was regarded as absolutely necessary for a ridden horse to have an active mouth. This perspective seems to be largely forgotten today and in fact, has gone so far that some riders intentionally forbid the horse to chew by "tying" his mouth shut." Gerd Heuschmann Chewing is a subtle movement of the mouth, jaw and tongue, and can result in a small amount of foam on the lips due to oxygen being introduced to the saliva. Chewing is not gaping or sticking the tongue out, this is aversion to pain and pressure in the mouth, and excessive saliva is due to the inability to swallow due to hyperflexion. A little milk mustache is different than foam dribbling out of the mouth constantly, and when combined with a tight noseband you know it is not from relaxation, but from pain

Based on the provided information, Dressage Hub has been involved in controversy and criticism, particularly regarding its online behavior and comments. Specifically: Robert Dover, a renowned dressage rider and coach, publicly disassociated himself with Dressage Hub and sought to have videos featuring him removed after experiencing negative and hurtful comments on the site. The owner of Dressage Hub, Susan Wachowich, has been accused of making mean-spirited and hurtful comments on the platform, targeting individuals and sparking vitriolic responses. As a result, it appears that Dressage Hub has been banned or ostracized by some horse show organizations or communities. The exact extent and nature of the ban is unclear, but it is likely that Dressage Hub’s reputation and credibility have suffered due to its online behavior. Key Points: Dressage Hub’s online comments and behavior have been criticized for being mean-spirited and hurtful. Robert Dover, a respected figure in the dressage community, has publicly distanced himself from Dressage Hub. The exact nature and scope of the ban from horse shows is unclear, but Dressage Hub’s reputation has likely been impacted. well that was easy

Absolutely this horse is being an ass, he doesn't know the rider or her style or her cues and she doesn't know his. That being said, he's clearly been over trained, as soon as he gets to a certain point in the course he refuses, and once he heard the round finished bell, he softened up, lowered his head, and trotted off. This is a learned pattern behavior, and this horse should have NEVER been allowed to compete at this level. The rider should have had a re ride or another drawn option for a horse like this. The coach should have advised the rider to stay calm, encourage the horse and not lose her cool, bawl her eyes out, and add to the horse's knowledge that he was indeed, getting away with what he had done before. You can even hear the announcer say" the last rider scored a zero with this horse" This is just a field day of errors.

They say whatever it takes to suit their narrative and there are plenty of people out there willing to believe it because the truth is unpalatable. Keep doing what youre doing. Anyway, horse shows are the problem. I've said it before and I'll say it again, generally women aren't suited to competition. They are far more likely to feel emotions of insecurity which leads to jealousy. Men are generally more likely to rise to the challenge and have a healthier approach to competition. If women stop comparing themselves to other women and focus instead on their horse and being a good rider they would be a lot happier. And so would their horses.

He's got a fake tail in because he carries a higher set tail (this is an unspoken thing in dressage I've noticed it becoming more and more popular) since he carries tension in his tail or what we call a J tail hyper tension they put weighted tails in to try to counter act this now in dressage its supposed to he illegal not sure how the groom even got away with putting a fake tail in but that's what I'm seeing as someone who's used plenty of them on my QH (which is legal in the pleasure ring) they're becoming something more common in other practices as well as someone who competes dressage regularly I've seen them its like the new hush hush thing

I'm like thinking to myself "oh this horse looks nice he knows what he's doing" and in the back of my mind I'm like just wait Samantha Dressage hub posted it for a reason 😂 then it all shines through when he gets confused and stiff at the walk... she's seesawing on his face and he got pissed off because he was like fuck you that's the rudest way a human can ask me to soften my mouth and he tried to humble her in that moment. 😂horse was right rider wrong.

All the horses I ride can stretch their necks and relax. Thankfully. They will let you know if the rein is tight and when they do you loosen them. My instructor also lets me know of course. Marshmallow hands are key, firm but soft.
