Brinley is an approximately 8 year old Siberian husky. He was rescued six years ago after he was caught out in a hurricane. He was abandoned by two families, before we found each other through the help of a friend. His German shepherd sister Addie is 10 and her dad Otto was 12. He was my protector from July of 2011, until August 3, 2023, when he passed. Addie's mama Ava, a black german shepherd, was rescued from a neglectful and abusive home before I got her. She was my shadow from November of 2012, until April 21, 2021, when she passed away at age 11. Our newest rescue & family member, Snowbell, is an approximately 7 year old Siberian husky. She came to us, after her last owner passed away.

Sometimes it looks like he's limping, but he's okay. I think its because he's overweight, due to a thyroid issue.

A beautiful tribute to your two beauties. Loved all the pictures and no it wasn’t too long. This is bittersweet for me though. On October 17th of this year I said goodbye to my 13 year old boxer/pit rescue due to cancer. As a matter of fact I had a dream of him last night. Maybe it wasn’t a dream but a visit. I’m crying right now having wrote that. I’m broken hearted and miss him so much! I hope you are okay. I’m not. 😞🙏🏼❤️🐕🦺
Awww...I'm so sorry this video has affected you in this way. I didn't mean to bring any hard feelings back to you. I'm so sorry for your tremendous loss. It's very hard especially before major holidays. I have my moments, where I have broken down, especially when I was putting a German shepherd ornament with a halo and wings on the Christmas tree. It looked like Otto, and made me cry. I have a special little Christmas I put up in remembrance for Ava and him, with all their personalized ornaments, their pawprints I made, and special ornaments that remind me of them. I am doing ok, because I have joined some really excellent pet loss support groups, with people that have really been amazing. Hope you find comfort and peace, as you think of all the wonderful memories you made with your furbaby. If you have Jesus as your Savior, you will see them again someday, in Heaven. They will be waiting for you. God has a special place for all his creatures and his creation. Always keep that and your baby in your heart. Love, prayers and peace in this very difficult time friend.💞🐾🙏🌈
@@brinleythesiberian Please don’t feel that your beautiful post did nothing more than confirm the love we have for our four legged family members. It’s new for me having had to make the decision to end “Goose’s” pain. Never had to do that before. I’m certain the pain I feel will ease with time.
I am so sorry for the loss of both of your fur babies. I know how you feel. I lost my fur baby Lucy at age 14and my fur baby Chief i lost him six months ago. They were like my children. I miss them both so much. But you and I will be with our babies when we cross the bridge to see them again.

My dog died when he was 7. It broke my heart. I often think that he plays with his friends in heaven. I am sure that Otto and Ava do that too. Although they are not visibel they are always with us. In Memories and the feeling of love that connected us.

Thank you so much Lorna. Yes, it was heartbreaking to lose them. I have so many great memories, and Brinley & Addie, and Addie's sister Mira, that my parents have. God has blessed me with them, to see me through the hard and lonely times, especially with my first Christmas without him coming up.
