  I can't begin to understand why he would feel the need to do all of that, and so often. I mean, the guy can obviously play, but 90% of that was distracting and didn't fit the song. Just because you can doesn't mean you should.

  They teach paradiddles and triplets for a reason not to just play in the pocket lol! I play at a church in a band SOME songs need a pocket NOT ALL SONGS! I’m the only white guy that plays in a Pentecostal/ Cogic church.! Different type of drummers then ever before.!
