Thats the way we finish our houses in the netherlands. We build with concrete and finish it of with plaster....no sheetrock or wood we want our houses to be strong and very soundproof, i dont want to hear the misic my kids are playing upstairs

How different? As far as chimneys go I am 3rd generation and it is basically the same, some other guys use alot of power tools, we basically do it the same though we mix our mud in a mud box, vs in a pit with on-site gravel.
