I agree, I like having something with an internationally common battery size. Unfortunately the output of these usually leaves something to be desired. I try to mitigate this by having backup batteries in a storage system like this. amzn.to/3YECsWn
@@scottneedleman6511 nice, but id probably go with a rectangular pack of Varta to fit in a cargo pants pocket. I dont want to start thinking about what id choose if i would be forced to flee. But my comment was rather about the bad (imo) form factor of the AA Olights. The i5t eos StarDust its a lights that i hate. Oh, and the Baton3ProMax, it get hot fast even on high! Oh, i must edit: ill never buy again from Amazon (Italy, im from Romania). I bought 2 clips for my Seekers (2 and 4 Pro), cutters for Surge, with no problems. Then, in March, i bought an Warrior3S DreamBlue. And the package that arrived contained a small, empty plastic box. They gave me the money back very fast and with almost no questions, but i dont trust them or the couriers anymore. I rather buy from AliExpress, no problems there!
Good review, as regards the screen I lowered mine and is much better than the high setting as didn’t want an extension off road.

The one "Achilles heal" is that it requires a proprietary charger...if it breaks or you don't have it with you, you're out of luck. You can't use an external charger either or snap out the battery making it a poor choice for emergencies or bug out kits. I like the USB-c chargers as they are becoming very universal
that's actually pretty easily amendable. You can use these batteries with the charging port directly on the battery itself and they're usb-c amzn.to/3zMNcrg
@@perryberk2090 They last forever on a full charge. I just check them all and top them off here and there. Great weapon as well with the beveled edges on the face.
i charge 21700 olight batteries on a Nitecore Ci4 sometimes. it works on very small also but its not recomended at all. but 21700 and 18650, no problem. the charger itself use usb-c.
The 16340 batteries can be charged in sofirn hs10, sc21 pro, if19 and the wurkoss ts11 & fc11 & hd15 with the 18350 battery tubes.
@@apcwjw Olight is very ferm against charging their batteries in other chargers or flashlights. I heard that someome died this way. I didnt googled it but i guess its possible with a few 21700 or bigger, like those for Marauder.

When I bought my Duc I had a decision to make. Go for value with a bell with mips or just dive right in with an Arai. I was told by a few people who had upgraded and said they would never go back to a non premium brand. While, I love my Arai. I still feel like I probably overpaid since it lacked a lot of the new features that were coming out at the time. Like the mips and a drop down sun visor. I hope you like the Arai! Would love to hear what you think about comm systems.
My only gripe with almost all com systems is the non replaceable battery. Both for switching mid trip and replacing them when they fail. So far both my hjc and cardio bold batteries have eventually died. When I decide on a replacement I'll definitely do a review.
@@scottneedleman6511 Yea. I got the Sena 10c EVO a few years back. It has all the functionality that I want but just not very well polished. Camera, live mesh networking, blue tooth. The camera is good but it's got a bit of a fish eye effect to it so recording is convenient but not great if you wanna use it for content. It needs an archaic usb mini chord to charge, and needs sd card formatting right out the gate and complicated firmware updates. For something that was rolled out in 2019 it felt like operating something ten years old. For something like $500-600 at the time, I definitely felt a little underwhelmed. Congrats on the engagement btw!

Unfortunately these arn't aging well. Endless examples of early failures in forums, including mine, I'm nearing the end of month number 2 of waiting for new cams, valves and followers at 31,000km(19,200miles). Twice as many oil changes as required but still it failed. These engines are a low grade example of modern engineering and a liability.

Cheers dude. Does the Scott’s help and add much benefit ? What about the sub mount? I’ve found my hands aching after a long day and hoping it will help but big investment.
I can only speak to the Scott's mount with the submount. I think when you're riding over big rocks or hit a rut at speed it helps. My hand is usually tired from clutch work though. The hand ache could also be the bars themselves. I found the renthal bars has an angle that helped my hands and wrists.

Scott, the verdict is in...my Marine Mats did not have any fabric guard prior to them getting dirty, I used your procedure with Soft Scrub with Bleach and viola, they are clean! A couple small embedded stains did not come out but overall they look much better than before. Soft Scrub w/bleach worked way better than Simple Green. Once everything dries thoroughly, I will treat them with 303 Fabric Guard, maybe next time they will be easier to clean. Thanks for your video, it was very helpful.

Hi Scott, very nice video with some great helpful tips! I have a 2020 Yamaha 242X Wake surf boat, I bought it used in October of 2021, its in beautiful shape but the Marine Mat has some stains. I tried Simple green and some serious scrubbing to no avail. I will give the Soft Scrub w/bleach a try and let you know how it works, without the mat being protected with 303 fabric guard first. I have the same drill brush set as you do, it should be a good comparison.

I've got 24k miles on my 2019 790R. Problem free so far. I put the Camel ADV shock protector on as soon as it came out. A worthwhile farkle. I tossed the Karoo 3's at the 800 mile mark. Hated them. Been using the Dunlop Trailmax Mission since. Great in the dry, rocky conditions of California, terrible in deep sand and mud. Love the bodywrap - looks awesome. Cheers
The issue with my shock was solved by them rebuilding it different then it was build from factory. It didn't seem heat related.
