Good video. I just finished my week teaching kids comix 5 days in a row. It was... rough.
That is so so so beautiful and gorgeous you did a wonderful job!! ❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊
@@Moonlight-qo2yo thank you so much! 🫶🏽❤️
Itoya, sekaido or loft which one is the more on the affordable side? 🤧
@@HiddenChapters Sekaido for sure! It had more general/affordable art materials and supplies, the other two felt like there were more high end items.
Hi! We sent you an email! Looking forward to hearing from you! 💜🥰
this is great content!
A June vlog already?! Yay! I can’t wait for the painting series all together I also prefer the voice over! I like to play your videos while also getting stuff done aaaand you have a calming voice.
I totally prefer voice over to captions. Sometimes I set up videos on one screen while working on another so not having to read text is always a plus!
Are you in Missouri?
I loved the video, Alex. That's a great and inspiring collection of books you have there. I'm low-key jealous that you got Kenichi Sonoda’s Gallant at Half-Price Books. I'll have to shop there more often. Keep up the awesome work.
Please do a video about teaching art classes! That's about to be my job.
That trick with the paper trimmer and the scoring tool is so clever!! My paper trimmer actually came with an attachment for scoring.
so it's normal right for straight woman to say they love big boobies and love women as muse. Good to know I'm not alone lol. getting this one 18:17
this was so delightful to watch!! 💗
So fun! I love the strawberry milk design 😁
Thanks Maggie! <3
Miffy is a Duth childrens rabbit character. The original name is " Nijntje," but for the international public, they call it Miffy cause it is easier to pronounce 😊
I've noticed it in other videos but now that it's the star of the show I can confirm that I have that same shelf. I use it to hold my inventory but the plants look really good on it.
wtf. I designed a t-shirt and post card like 15 years ago and apparently 20 year old me just ripped off some character named Miffy? I had no idea. Gonna stop selling that asap.
The 80s magazine and collection book is very cool ❤!
❤❤
I just got caught up on all of your vlogs. I love how you focus more on the behind-the-scenes of being an artist beyond making art itself. I entered 2024 at a point in my career where I am "done" making things for now and am focusing on setting my up online shop and connecting with retailers, so it's nice to see someone doing similar stuff instead of just drawing all the time.
Aww thanks! I do feel like I have so much stuff that I've drawn or created, but I'm still learning how to get it out to the world lol Nice to know that others are doing the same! If you ever have any questions or need suggestions, let me know! I try to share as much in the vlogs as I can lol
It was a nice video but the subtitles were hard to read.
It's called a kappa.
Thank you! When I googled kappa, it was not as cute as the stickers lol but nice to know the origins, so ty again!
Tangled is seriously the best Disney film and the palette and style of the movie is flawless, not to mention how great the story is! I also love the art from Brave.
I 100% agree!! Brave makes me cry too much LOL
found this video in my recs! I also have an artbook collection, and seeing other people's collections is always so fun (especially when we have the same ones!) You found yourself a sub 🌟
I agree! I love watching these types of videos lol And tysm for the sub <3
Nice shopping haul. Animal crossing bag is cute.
I have a much smaller collection with a few of these books, so cool to see more to put on my wish list! Thank you for the vid 💗💗💗
Nice! You can't go wrong with any of these book! You'll be set with bday presents for a while with this list lol <3
Loved the video! It's always fun to see which artbooks people collect 🥰🎉
Tysm! <3 And I agree, I love watching these types of videos lol
Yeah! Making a similar trip soon to Japan and Manila. Very excited to buy all the things.
Hope you have so much fun!
That is an amazing zip up sweater. Where might I find one?
The keroppi sweater is from a site called Dumbgood - it's called the 'KING KEROPPI SHERPA JACKET'!
i love your studio! are the peaches on your wall a wallpaper? if so where did you get it? 🤩🤩🤭
Thank you!! I actually painted the peaches! ❤️
@@AlexMartinezArt REALLY? you’re so talented!! 🥹🥹
Girl you are so pretty Masha'allah, i usually hate when vloggers keep coming in the screen but whenever you show up , I'm like wow she's super cute . And personally i love packing videos
LOL tysm! I feel the same way sometimes, where there's only a handful of people that I like seeing their faces a lot in vlogs - I'm glad you feel that way about me haha and glad you like the packing vids!!
O: I want the DJI pocket osmooo!! Love the content heehee
Thanks Seira!! The DJI is soo good, I recommend it!!
Checked your Etsy Shop so much cute stuff!
Aww tysm!!
you are so cute !!! i like watching your videos in between work ❤ i just got started my own small business (handmade notebooks) how do you keep going even if you have no orders ? i feel so down !! - tons of love from Argentina 🇦🇷
Aww tysm!! It is a hard feeling when you don't receive any orders, it was like that for me for about 2 1/2 years. I just kept creating things and eventually found the right market of people who shared similar interests! But don't give up! Keep doing the things you love to do and you will see some results sooner or later! <3
Oh My Gosh!!! The amount of effort you put into the backings! Also I loved the video <3
Tysm!! <3
Spreadsheets are amazing!! It’s me, I’m the bestie who loves spreadsheets :)
hi! i was at the berkeley market - saw your booth, got your card, subscribed to your channel! i only have thoughts and not for-sure answers about the low foot traffic, it definitely felt barren when i popped in. i was going for head west, i was getting ads for that market, knew i was gonna finally get to it (the other times they were in berkeley, i had something else booked). i went onto their site, researched the vendors, made a list of what booths to check out and a to-buy list. i was also stopping by that neighborhood for a yarn event down the street. i did not know about the market you were at. even googling it now, their december 9 event doesn't show up. i know that they have makers row and that the vendors rotate out, but i thought it was just those little buildings next to the cafe, not the parking lot, so i definitely browsed instead of bought since i didn't know what was around. your booth was definitely cute and eye catching, and had a big crowd inside it when i stopped by. looking forward to your future videos!
Thanks for stopping by my booth and following me!! ❤ also appreciate the insight! I do think there could’ve been more marketing for the makers row, but it’s interesting to know how the different events were organized. Definitely want to do more of these lol Thanks again for your support!
Can’t wait to watch next weeeks!!! 💕
D’aww you’re so cute and love the content! 😄
Aww thanks Siera!! 💜💜
Watching from Canada
Thanks for the support! 💜
LOVE! Can't wait to see more :)
Ty ty!! I hope you liked your quick cameo LOL
