  You also have silent mode and emergency speed. The leviathan will only attack you if you are in the sub. And it always circles around after it’s finished with its attack so you have time to repair it on the outside. if you’re a cyclops gets destroyed you can quit the game to the main menu and rejoin, and it will retrace back to your last save. And if you manage to make it happen there is a secret ejection seat, it’s actually just a glitch at the main door that is a circle. someone recorded a video of them, getting ejected miles away from the submarine when they touched their circular door.

  Lmao this happened to me, I had just built one and decided to take it to the crash zone, one creature attack and destroyed cyclops later, I learned my lesson to install the shield generator and fire suppression upgrades before going ANYWHERE near the crash site

  That's terrifying, I didn't bring my cyclops anywhere not until I got the shield and decoy upgrade, my seamoth got destroyed twice early in the game I've learn my lesson..

  I’m so confused on what this person is trying to do… you don’t go near a reaper with vehicles unless you want to go home swimming 😂 With the cyclops you have to have the sonar to spot them ahead of time then go alone with the gun and thermal blade and hack at his neck! Try to stay near the surface in case you need a rebreather.

  i just realized the reaper only attacks because of the sound, if you turn the engine off he goes away after he gets uninterested because the cyclops lacks of sound and "life" if i am making myself clear lol, either way i am now confident to go to dangerous biomes or areas with the cyclops (maybe)

  this is why the fire extinguisher upgrade module is so good. if you are quick enough, you can get out of the cyclops in time and fix the hull outside.
