Most of Imperial Remnants doesn''t even rate First Order. They see them as bunch of cowards who were never present in the Battle of Jakku, those who got who got lucky that happened to be assigned to far rim regions and fled once they heard that Palpatine got murked and last remaining forces surrendered in Jakku. Those who survived the Battle of Jakku and refused to surrender all retreated to outer rim and formed Imperial Remnants.

I’m amazed how this massacre is the only actual achievement ever shown by Lucas about Grevious. As basically this guy is like super powerful and with the best droids under his command, but somehow he always lose
The moment that I saw that she had just five guards with her, I didn’t need to see Mando S2 to suspect what would happen. They should have sent at least a single cruiser with X-Wings. But then again the New Republic seemed determined to sabotage itself at every turn. Refusing to provide aid to one world, sending the bare minimum for another and all the while trying to pretend that if they persisted with burying their heads in the sand the rest of the galaxy would eventually join in.
Their fight is amazing
Disney's light saber feels so underwhelming compared to George Lucas's versions.
Sol is the best character hands down
To think Anakin didn't force choke her the instant he saw her is still baffling to me. Barriss is the reason Anakin lost his padawan.
Anakin would be in the Jedi Temple during this moment but Im surprised Sidious didn't allow Anakin to visit the Military Compound and execute Barris as payback for what she did to Ahsoka as reward for massacring the Jedi in the temple

Sol and Qimir were the two best written and performed characters of this show and this fight scene, although theres some issues, was largely excellent. The piece i disliked the most was, when Sol destroyed Qimirs lightsaber, whyd bro just give up? Wasnt he the one demanding his acolyte to kill a jedi with no weapon? (Same thing with him running from vernestra... "If so powerful you are.. why leave?") The theme was decent and on brand with the Sith, specifically palpatine, who mastered every lightsaber form, and made his sabers decked out with electrum to troll the jedi, but barely used them cause theyre a "jedi's weapon" - not a sith, or at least not the sith at the height of his reign / the height of the rule of 2 before he defeated the jedi. And then they just, sorta forgot about that..
Sol fought well, but made a LOT of stupid decisions and had extremely mixed motives and disingenuous relationships with nearly everyone around him. So basically the writers, producers and directors thoroughly defiled and violated every basic tenet of the Jedi mythos!
They didn't even bother mapping Lee's face on the stunt man towards the end of the duel. I guess they thought all Asians look alike or something. Not too woke there big D

I don't know why Ahsoka didn't just use her white lightsabers on Shin, she wouldn't have stood a chance against someone as fierce as Ahsoka Tano.
Trying to clear up some confusion here: Qimir's biggest goal atm is to acquire an acolyte; one who can kill a Jedi without a weapon. Beating Sol by himself would defeat the purpose here; that deed would have to be done by either Mae or Osha. Sol: "I will destroy you if I must." Qimir: "Not if she gets you first." If anything, he might just be stalling for time until either of the twins can get to where they are. Qimir only stopped fighting because even if he couldn't overpower Sol, at least he could give him one last daring taunt to make him break the Jedi code, which is *attacking the opponent while they're unarmed* , therefore further bruising Sol's dignity and moral conscience in the process. That's why we don't see any hint of fear from Qimir whenever Sol had a very open chance to straight up kill him. Either way, it's the Stranger who will get his last laugh. That's how I see it. 🤷🏻♀️

Pretty much. Goes without saying that we always will have the Legends lore, but we have to accept that canon lore, while it will be similar, but still ultimately different.

this doesn't make any sense, Qimir is evidently in his 30s which means they probably made plagueis even older than in legends
Well, not sure if you didn't notice but a lot in this series doesn't make sense lol And yeah, Plagueis is 100% older... he should be a kid, but he looks to be old and frail in this show - which takes place 100 years before Phantom Menace. Which begs the question, how did Palpatine kill him in canon? If he’s this old he could have simply pushed him down a flight of steps or hide his medication.
@@SYLOStarWars I was hoping to see Tenebrous in this series, this is a real let down. Now none of the timing makes sense and I presume Vernestra will be the main "protagonist" since Sol is dead and she knows Qimir is alive. I hope Plagueis kills her lmao
Same as me. I was thinking Tenebrous was Qimir's master the entire time, but that hope ended the second Plagueis was shown on screen. I can only assume Headland went with Plagueis because more people know about him due to his name drop in RoTS. So she ignored all the problems surrounding Plagueis being a Sith master during this time not making sense. I don't know if Vernestra will be the main protag going forward. Her acting is too stiff.... pretty sure they'll still stick with the twins. Showing Osha's perspective training with Qimir and being introduced to Plagueis, while at the same time Mae works with the Jedi to track down Qimir and Osha. Pretty much season 1 all over again but with some adjustments made.
If you have to explain stuff from your show after every episode than this just shows your show is really bad and doesn’t answer anything and also find it funny since people think that there will even be a second season since leslie thought there wouldnt even be a 2nd season but i dont really care if there is one since the story didnt make sense the plot was all over and place and the characters were inconsistent even mai turning good and than bad again being one of the few things wrong with the acolyte but than again this is my opinion and also hearing other reviewers who have watched the show in it’s entirely for me didn’t interest me at all and that’s ok just wasn’t for me
She left a lot of questions unanswered and teased many things exactly for the reason because she wants a season two to happen. I'm still leaning on the chance that it's going to happen, because I don't think KK wants to admit failure with this show. You're not wrong though, good writing would allow a show to answer many of these things in a satisfactory way and not require the showrunner to constantly explain everything in outside interviews. Unfortunately, "season 1" had no good writing and that's why we're here. I should never have to make a video like this had the show done its job and revealed that Plagueis is Qimir's master. And based on Headland's interview responses towards the twins, she seems to think it was clever of her making Mae and Osha switch places. I'm curious who else thought the same as her about that...
Imagine you go from Qimir to Palpatine as your apprentice, now that's an upgrade and a half!🤣🤣🤣
To be fair, Qimir is no slouch himself. Hard to be one if you manage to kill 12 Jedi all on your own, but yeah hands down Palpatine is the Sith GOAT. Plagueis certainly has good taste in picking strong apprentices lol

@darkwolf780 Nah, sounds more like you're simply reaching here and need to look up what the word 'simp' means. Me acknowledging that Qimir (whose one of the only few good things about the show) killed so many Jedi on his own as a Sith apprentice has nothing to do with that. Show me another Sith apprentice in canon next to Vader that killed that many Jedi on screen, you can't.
Props to Disney that they really nailed the FIlipino Sith lord if there was ever one.. A guy donning a motorcycle helmet in a rain coat looking as if he was about to ride his Suzuki Raider.. aka "the Kamote rider" look.
It be nice if all of this was shown in the tv series, rather then Headland needing to hop from interview to interview in order to explain things for us. Hopefully she gets impatient enough and spills the beans on what Qimir's Darth name is before we get an announcement on whether season two is happening or not. 🤷
Do you think there any possibility he could be disney version of darth venomous and maybe this is the reason disney are making us wait for Qimirs sith name?
@@tonybutcher4550 I'm personally 90% certain he's Darth Venomous in canon, seeing as he can also levitate himself just like in the Legends book. They obviously did a race swap on him and changed his story a bit, with him now being Plagueis' apprentice rather than Tenebrous. Maybe Headland thinks revealing him to be Venomous deserves to be a season two surprise, don't know...
In Ahsoka he looks like Elon Musk. Here he looks like Michael Myers.
