  id say this is an amazing quad. The only problem is that the wire that connects from the motherboard to the camera is Solderd on the motherboard. Because of this, my friend lightly tapped the drone against a wall. he flew it for like 10 flights before and barley crashed it. We could solder it back on but we didn't want to break it so he just had to return it. its a super fast drone and is amazing otherwise.

  I bought a th3 about 3 weeks ago and am loving it! However, I'm getting literally less than 20% of your usable range - how are you achieving this wizardry to go so far and still have that clear video? Mine turns to horizontal white static and crazy jumbles before I'd reach 9:07 in your video. Then I'd be completely blind by 9:15, yet you continue flying AWAY from yourself for another 50 seconds after that! This video makes me seriously think my th3 is broken/defective in some way... I've tried running at your exact vtx specs and also at 200 power, seems to make no difference. :(

  you can change the mhw of the camera delivery yours might be set to the standard 25 but you can up it to 200 in the setting

  @@olivercurras1187 I was running 200. I snagged some lollipop 4 rhcp antenna and one truerc patch for when I'm outdoors and that made all the difference in the world, much more like your example (but still a bit worse for sure). The stock antenna truly hold this rtf kit back tremendously, atleast it's not too expensive to upgrade them though. Thanks for your reply :)

  I tried but I couldn't pass through npm i usb. it doesn't create a node_modules/usb directory and then nodegyp does not compile of course. Let me know if you find a workaround.

  I can do most of the commands. but at 6:40 when it's time to npm install the 3 dependencies, I got the error that the usb node module does not get installed. I'm a recent node js developper and I usually developp on Windows. Not OSX so I'm not so familiar with osx. I just bought my first MacBook Air M1 in January.

  This review got me to buy the th3. Absolutely love flying it indoors, outdoors is a bit dissapointing on 1s. Until you put it on 2s outdoors. With emax 350 mah 2s lipo’s, its super fun outdoors as there is no risk involved when you accidentally crash. You only have to change the pid to 2 and it will work nicely.

  @@Depzzz_ yes you can, i’ve been doing it for months and it still holds up. Emax also confirms this. The only reason a 2s lipo isn’t included in the box is because 2s is just far too advanced for a beginner.

  @@olivercurras1187 you need an emax 350 mah 2s lipo. That lipo has a ph 2 connector. Set the pid profile to 2.

  is there anything you did for the quality of the dvr ? mine cuts out even when in the googles its fine and it just seems random. I don't know if its the sd card im using, I'm using a recommended 16gb class 10 but yours is like so good. I go behind anything and its bad chopping out in the dvr but when flying in googles its fine. If someone could help me out that would be amazing !

  I think he isn’t using the included goggles. Its a known problem that the dvr flashes whenever it distorts in the signal on these goggles. The amount of range he gets in this video is also impossible on the stock antennas, he probably uses the expensive fatshark goggles.

  @The Earth Is Bread well I can get full football field in both directions and its really good in the goggles for me its just the dvr and like even just a foot away it starts cutting out in the recording, will get better ones eventually would have been nice if this worked good though because of the removable screen, its kinda nice, say for watching back, and if people with you want to watch. I dont need to get as far as him just he shows the kit and made it look like he was using the emax goggles so was just wondering if he did anything to improve the performance of them.

  @@everythingfilms yeah i also thought at first that he was using the th 3 goggles aswell but i realized he didn’t thanks to the clean dvr and other yourubers had the same problem. Couldn’t find any fix for it either as i have the same issue. Too bad because its a nice screen for sure and different goggles are very expensive.

  i just orderd one of these hopefully it will arrive in the next couple of days, i only have a dji mini 2 so the fpv drones will be tough to get used to so i wanted something small i can fly around in the shed for a while to get the hang of it before i get something bigger, i think ill get the tinyhawk freestyle 2 for my second fpv drone for a step up before getting a crux35. i almost brought the crux35 but i downloaded a free simulator and yeah wow its tough, so i thought i better get something that wont damage shit when i crash it a billion times getting the hang of it lol, plus the weather were im at ill prob be stuck inside the shed most the time and i need something thats not going to dint and scratch cars and bikes in the shed when i crash into them lol hopefully ill be ok i have been getting the hang of the simulator i think i will be fine, start slow and work my way up. plus because i wear glasses im not really sure im going to be able to use the goggles i wanted the fall back of being able to mount the screen to the controller incase im not able to see with the goggles on. if i cant use the goggles im going to try to figure out a way to use a bigger monitor that wont introduce a bunch of latency

  I'd say that definitely helps yes. Just adjust the tilt depending on how fast you are planning to fly. Really fast you will need to tilt up quite a lot so you aren't filming the ground the entire time.

  You can use the video receiver and goggles with any drone that transmits video with analog. For the controller, I don't think you can get it to work with any other drone.

  I got it to work at the begin but when i close terminal and open it again it wont open the viewer when i input the last command shown in the video description. Anyone can help?
