Great job, Mitch!
Thank you Chris! These were a lot of fun!
These are the best painted Nemesis minis on KZread, hands down!
Thank you so much! They were really simple to paint and the added effects were super fun to try!
Awesome job! These all came out great. Thanks for making these videos.
Thank you for your support! I appreciate your kind words!
So much detail, I grew up on Bionicle and this is so nostalgic for me.
Awesome! Glad you loved the video, it was fun to get that nostalgia going again too!
God I would absolutely LOVE a Bionicle cooperative miniature game similar to Gloomhaven.
Oh man, why did you have to put such an awesome concept in my head?!
I don't mean to be one of those guys. But I should point out something. Bionicle characters aren't truly robots. They are more akin to Cyborgs, but their mechanical parts aren't metal and are more akin to an Exoskeleton made of material similar to the Shell of a Crab. And yes they do have Organs and Muscles (if you ever see the old Bionicle Movies you'll notice purple texture on the characters...that's Muscle) Meaning it heals and mends. That aside these look incredible.
Thank you so much! And yeah I’m diving back into Bionicle lore and loving it all over again!
@MiniPaintMitch Same grew up with it and here I am at 30 and still coming back to it to flex my imagination.
Not to mention the entire story took place inside a continent-sized sapient being, giving the story a real Osmosis Jones kinda vibe
Awesome work dude! Was really amazing and awesome seeing you paint them, hopefully there are more to come like the rahkshi
Oh man that would be awesome! Maybe in a future video!
@MiniPaintMitch I'm looking forward to see how you would base them as their elements are so different
Incredible!
Thank you!
I really like our approach to lava. It seems really approachable, and the end result was nice. I gotta try that!
Thank you! And yes you should! Just keep layering on brighter colors and in smaller areas, it will look weird at first but stick to it!
I have the OG six and several other sets. My son and I have been rebuilding them as he’s caught the Lego but. Seeing our here have nostalgia is awesome. Very lovely work replicating them to perfection.
Awesome! Yeah they are really fun to play with still! Hoping for a franchise reboot some day!
Thank you for breaking down this concept for me, felt stupid trying to be and artist and not sure 100% how to do this technique.
No worries! Always here to help and it’s definitely something you just have to practice and get a feel for! I’ve got more technique videos planned!
Very cool!
Thank you!
Painting the toa nuva when
😆 Great idea! Maybe even a Bohrok?
@@MiniPaintMitch it would be amazing actually xD
I stumble upon this stl files saturday night, now youtube recommends me the video, i al scared

Thank you so much! They were a really fun project
Let's get together and yub yub in a bath tub.🤤
Nice shading. I know who I'm going to call. 😘
Glad you liked it mate!
Mitch! Dave Larsen here. You're very talented and clever. I'm really enjoying your videos. We should reconnect sometime.
Yeah dude! Recognized you! Let’s do it!
I’ve been looking forward to this one!
Haha yep! Glad you liked it!
Where did you get the mini?
It’s from the board game Nemesis, by Awaken Realms
@@MiniPaintMitch I’ll go check it out. I’m looking to start an army of alien bugs as a stand in for 40K tyranids cause the new models just aren’t really my vibe.
Alien with a glow stick paint
That would be cool!
That’s actually really cool do Alien next
I plan on it!
Lovely job on these mate, great use of lighting to make it seem like they're obscured in shadow. And the gore effects are a great touch too!
Thanks mate! Yeah these were super fun to do, I may have to finish the rest in the box!
Smash.
Thank you!
AYO
That's a fantastic looking mini! And also added to an inspired diorama I've had in mind for a while.
Thank you and that’s awesome!
Great job
Thank you so much!
@@MiniPaintMitch this was a awesome video. Would love to see more Xenos/Alien stuff
Great job, Mitch! They look awesome and the effects came out so good!
Thank you mate! Yeah I’m not normally one for added extras on minis but I felt these needed something more, plus I’ve been wanting to try the glue trick out for a while!
Well done man! This looks awesome!
Thank you! It was surprisingly quick and simple but the bigger scale threw me off
Nice work! 🤘🏼😝🤘🏼
Thank you!
Amazing video and very touching intro man! ❤
Thank you, mate! Glad you enjoyed the video
Love it! For the wash instead of flow enhancer i have vallejo flow improver. Can that work?
Yep! Should work just as fine!
Great job on the Commandos chap, will try and replicate it for the ones I've still got in the box!
Thank you! Hope the recipe works for you! Hardest part is controlling the wash before it dries but you will get the hang of it.
Great job as always, Mitch!
Thank you! These guys were an awesome project!
Great job! Thanks for the tutorial!
Thank you! Glad you liked it!
Painting mini's, painting mini's never changes... Awesome!!
😆 I had to have a little fun with it!
This makes me want to binge the show all over again!
Haha yep! I’m on my second time through!
Nice work! TY for sharing!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
love this! you think you could do a vid on painting some from the core starter set? Super curious to see how you'd do the clones / cptn rex
So I actually finished painting the core box before I started the channel, BUT I do plan on having a clone trooper episode soon which recipe you can apply to any of the troopers!
He’s ready to cause some havoc
Vader Vs Vader in our next game?
@@MiniPaintMitch you know it!
Stellar look with those bases. I have never based before... this video is giving me the thoughts that I should try it on one and see what I can play with. Thanks for the awesome video. Detailed, easy to listen to, and humble. You are an amazing artist and creator.
Thank you so much! And I’m glad you found inspiration for the bases! Absolutely give it a go and see what you can come up with, there are a ton of basing supplies at local hobby stores now that can get you most of the way there
I'm loving the Shatterpoint content! Are there any games you haven't done yet that you'd like to do tutorials for?
What a great question! I’ve got a ton of Legion and Shatterpoint in my pile of shame, and I like dabbling in Warhammer from time to time. But in terms of other games, I’ve got a lot of Nemesis that I’ve always wanted to paint, and I’ve been thinking about trying the minis from the Batman Animated Series board game too!
Great job as always, Mitch! I'm just getting started in my mini painting journey and have been really enjoying your videos.
Thank you! It’s always daunting to start a new hobby but hopefully you can find some useful tips and tricks that can save you time! Keep practicing and good luck!
Love it!
Thank you!
Fantastic tutorial as always!
Thank you, buddy!
*wampa noises intensify*
Haha it’s the only game mode worth playing! Now in tabletop form!
I read Novistadors at first glance. You should definitely paint Novistadors haha.
Haha that might be in the future!
Awesome stuff! I'm really enjoying your content - I hope your channel blows up :D What do you use as hobby handles and how do you keep them connected? (the lid-looking things)
Thank you for your kind words! And for the temporary handles when I prime models, those are lids to Gatorade bottles with some sticky tack to hold them in place, then when I move to the painting phase, I use citadel painting handles as it’s a little more secure
I did this kit for a friend last year and I detailed it for him as well. Nice job on the paint job and base. Another friend of mine did this kit and added LEDs to the jet pack. It is incredible. Happy building.😊
Awesome! Yeah it was a super fun project! I love the idea of LEDs though, might have to look into it!
Great video and thank you for sharing what colors you used. It makes a world of difference to new painters. Happy Modeling ~ Cory
Thank you so much!
This is the way. Another great video!
Thank you! Looking forward to our future collab!
