What is the Dominican House of Prayer KZread Channel?
The Dominican House of Prayer (DHOP) is a house of studies for the soul. DHOP's focus is on helping others grow in virtue, holiness, and into deeper union with our Lord. DHOP is the public ministry of two Dominican priests and two Dominican lay leaders who together wish to share their experience and understanding on prayer and the spiritual life with the world at large. As we gather as one holy body of Christ, we understand you cannot be blotted out. No culture or worldly practice can turn our hearts against you. Lord, we continue to pray for alignment, and for contemplation to build an intimate relationship with you. Understanding that you are ONE GOD, Hear us Lord, and empathize with those who have lost their way and are confused. God be with us.
I am so angry. I feel very hurt. Why do this to Catholics? God give us the strength, courage and faith to withstand these things.

I'm a convert and still trying to understand what it means to "pray in the spirit." Is it fair to say that when we pray in the second or third mode of attention that this is praying in the spirit? Are the three modes of attention another way of understanding "recollection"?

Thank you, Father, for this knowledge on Prosilosis. In the Passion of the Christ, I found the nailing of Jesus' hand and feet was the most difficult to watch, I felt sick after because it was the most painful thing for him to endure but yet the most beautiful thing He did for us, does that make sense. Every time I do the Sorrowful mystery, it takes me right back to that pain and beauty and so my gratitude and love for Jesus grows daily! May I always use His suffering to grow in spirit, love and truth. 🙏📿
