  I've seen much better films about Turkey. My family & I spent 5 years there while in the USAF. It's a beautiful country, rich in history that is truly where East meets West. Istanbul is one of the great cities of the world. Topkapi Palace is a must-see, as is the Blue Mosque, St Sophia's Cathedral, The Grand Bazaar & on & on. Izmir is another great city, well south of Istanbul on the west coast. Ephesus is close & further south is the Turkish Riviera, considered the best by many northern Europeaners. We drank water from Paul's well in Tarsus. Swam in the Med. Food is amazing. Go visit...it'll be an experience you'll cherish.
