  I usually don't listen to radio (mostly just metal and electronic music) but one winter morning about ten years ago I was driving my commute home from a night shift and the battery was out in my phone so I put on the radio. Pop station was playing some garbage so I ended up on the local station that played some local folk band I knew... then this song comes on next and I'm so taken by the song I have to concentrate to hear if the DJ would say the name of the band and the song afterwards. I stoppe so I could write it down. Been a fan ever since.

  Go to Tommy Johansson's YT and listen to him when he sings covers on, among other things, abba qeen gary more and others. He sings like a god, plays all the instruments himself. Just quit Sabaton as a guitarist and also has his own band majestica. Fantastic person

  It's like a cauldron of sadness, regret, pain, loss, remorse, hate, fear, anger and darkness was poured over your body and soul which consumed you with all the worst feelings and experiences you had in your life. Then. Light appears, then hands reach out grasping you with care, comfort , love and pull you from the dark and stop your torment and fill you with love. As you rise you realize your sins are forgiven and all who you love are watching you come home, forever.

  Being a huge fan of DCD since the 80's I went to the first Dead Can Dance concert in Mexico city in 1996, she has sort of a gigantic tubular voice spiritual power I've never seen/heard anywhere else, Lisa Gerrard's voice just filled all the space and travelled enormously through us up and down multiple times, very electrical motion and magnetic permanence, I've never had so many sustained goosebumps in all my life.

  These are two sisters from Stockholm that have made an impact in folk pop. At young age (about 12) they were introduced to country and found music like Gram Parsons and Emmylou Harris. They wrote a song called "Emmilou" about her and Gram Parsons and in 2015 they were honored to perform that song in front of Emmylou Harris, as she received the Polar Music Prize.   It took me a while to acquire appreciation for Dolly's singing. But when I heard her 1970 recording of Muleskinner's Blues, I became a fan immediately. So I've been a fan of Dolly Parton since 1970.
