I like that it's based on an actual fire in the Ozark mountains but it's missing something. WHY IS THERE NO NORMAL FACE QUOTE 😭😭😭😭
We tried the Chicken House one evening, and guess what they didn't serve - why chicken! The buffet looked so bad we left after our drinks were served, tossing the waiter a 10. Your assessment is spot on; I'm stunned it's still in business.
They just recently went out of business. They change their format to a Mexican food restaurant called Señor chicken. We will see if that’s any better.
Do you have to buy tickets online or can you pay cash
You should be able to pay cash.
Steal Your Dollar City!!!
Luckily they are cheaper than Disney and most other theme parks
How is the chicken place still open. I wanna hold a sign to tell people to read reviews first. It'd be legal but they'd be so pissed
What’s funny is it finally did change types of food about a month ago. It is now Señor Chicken a Mexican food place. I’m looking forward to see how they do.
@@bransonsbest interesting
4, not 5, episodes of Beverly Hillbillies were filmed at SDC. Episode 1 Season 8 was filmed in California. Journey home was episodes 2-5. Common error. Tip: don’t believe Wikipedia. lol. :)
Avoid Time Share presentations at all costs!

Mel's Hard Luck Diner was a joy. The food was good and so was the entertainment. It was so cute when our waitress sang to my grandson and embarrassed him.
How fun! Thank you for sharing and watching!
The Haygoods are great!
Agreed!
normal
Terry is such a wonderful man! He also paints the park paths. My family was able to stop and talk to him for a minute while he was painting the label for the new Fire in the Whole.
He is super nice! Make sure to check him out in his show in town. CJ Newsom’s Classic Country and Comedy. He is so funny.
This place is consistently cool to visit generation after generation.
Agreed
"Homage" was appropriate and "thrice" is definitely a word. He needs to spend more time reading a dictionary and less time criticizing his obviously more intelligent wife.
My wife loved this. Made her laugh out loud. Thank you for watching.
The old bluegrass type music was better
I was so surprised to be able to see the ceiling and walls of the warehouse red iron building they built this inside of. This really takes away from the ride in my opinion. They need to cover that up, darken it out, do something to make that not so visible. And that partition curtain like wall on the left of the track up there is kind of lacking too. Just seems odd they would do this on otherwise a pretty cool remake of the original ride .
I think they are still tweaking it but I agree.
Thanks for the informative video. By the way, I really enjoyed "Awesome Hits of the 80's" when I was there a couple of weeks ago. I wasn't expecting to hear the intro's by Casey Kasem. Along with the songs themselves, hearing those clips from his radio show brought back some really good memories from my youth.
I am so glad to hear! It was so much fun putting together. I alway wonder if people catch that it’s Casey Kasem doing the voice over. Thank you again!!!!
You carry zero credibility when you promote your wife’s show which is only ok at best.
Your life myst be full of pain and hurt. I am so sorry. I will keep you in my prayers.
I will say ive been too Branson a bunch and I know a few places off the beaten path, Mr gilberties is a Sicilian style Italian restaurant it was so good
That is really good! It’s located on Acacia Club Road in Hollister, MO. Highly recommend.
I saw him today!
Yay!
And never go on a Saturday !
So true!
Looks like every restaurant you listed is a carbon copy of the others. All ice cream and burgers! I never ate like that in Branson. Never
I’m confused. Sushi, Mexican, Southern Cooking, Italian, Seafood, Bar Food, and BBQ are all included.
New subscriber. Love it
Thank you!!!!!
Also surprised there is no mention of Boxcar Willie and Roy Clark, since they had shops on 76 Hwy when it was still a two lane. Good memories of Echo Hollow when I worked there, D.A. Callaway was my favorite guy behind the scenes with all his jokes, along with the Dillards and Mr. Purvis that first year it opened. J.D. Capps was walking around on his stilts before the show and handing out pictures. I remember it still today that he used to tell little kids....."go get a dollar from your Maw". Thanks Guys!
Quit pushing the Americana .
Sooooooo you still haven’t figured it out that we run the Americana. I love making video but the purpose is to bring people to Branson and ultimately to the Americana. So our “sponsor theater” will be in all our videos.
Now if blazing furry at dollywood could get an upgrade like this...I can't wait to ride this for the first time this fall when I visit branson for the first time
Mel's Hard luck diner is one we always go to
It’s good and fun! Thank you for watching!
It's been 7 years since we have been to Branson would love to come back but disability has kept me from going back
I am so sorry to hear that.
We just got back and the Branson Belle showboat is the real deal. The food was great . The talent was great too. My wife and I will go back for the showboat over and over again ! 😊
Awesome! They are great! Thank you for watching
Great video. Are there any criptid or bigfoot stories in Branson?
None that I aware of.
Do you get wet at all? Asking for my 7 year old.
The Americana was the very first theater I ever attended to see Moe Bandy!! That was back in the early 90's.
That’s great!!!! Thank you for sharing!
A Bible based virtual reality experience? What like you get to watch them hammer the spikes into your hands? Ehhh, dunno about that.
We don't drink alcohol. So, we won't be patronizing these places.
Did you know they don’t force it down your throat? You can go to these places and order a water! It’s a wild concept we’re trying in America called freedom
That's the funniest thing I've ever heard. Enjoy your fast food bc I'm not sure where else you can eat.
When can you drive down 76 with no traffic
3 am…JK. Normally non-summertime you can drive in the afternoon and mornings without much traffic. Just keep away from showtimes and dinner.
Oh man I liked it before. Where's the music? That filled in the empty spaces and made it more continuous.
We love him at sdc every Christmas! My daughter is 10 and we've seen him every year!
He is the best. Also catch him at CJ’s Classic Country and Comedy.
@@bransonsbest we Def will! He has always been so kind to my family. My kids look Fwd to seeing him every Christmas! People don't understand how great sdc is at Christmas.
This man is multi talented
Agree completely
I met this guy once! He was so cool!
He is so cool! I am proud to count him as a friend!
I was there the first time in 1992.It is hard to see what it is now,but the traffic is better.
Definitely. Love the back roads.
Wider roads and new side roads
Trailblazer pass ftw
Great video. You did such a good job on sights and themes. As for as the Andy Williams theater. Yes it was purchased and plans are for another Creation Museum, just like the one in Kentucky which is part of the Noah’s ARK museum. I wish I had watched this video before my trip. We visited Branson strip for 2 days and this is definitely and win win trip for vacations. I live in Oklahoma, were we have a cbdc store on just about every corner, half are closed and the other half have empty parking lots. The Branson ticket discount stores are just like our cbdc store. So do your homework before buying any tickets at these places. If the salesperson start talking about time shares, kindly tell them to have a nice day. My biggest negative about driving around. Branson red light system is extremely terrible. They create traffic. There red lights take forever to change. Half the drivers are not locals, so expect slow drivers. One big positive, the shows. We went to queen Esters show and it blew us away. Live animals during the show that walk down the isles. The show preforms on not only the front of the theater but on the sides as well. Sitting in the middle in the back is the only way to catch the whole show without having to move your head. It’s a one of a kind theatrical performance you have to see. Lots of hotels, highly suggest use use a GPS and save sights to favorites. Lots of hills and plenty to do.
gd reference
I miss the Old Landing.
I remember, it was beautiful
I thought you said they were hidden gems??? Looks to me like they’re all on the side of the road right in front of your face. lol click bate
Unfortunately, when you’re driving down the road, it’s easy to miss all the great businesses.
5:53 I liked this restaurant but its spelled Wakyoto. The way the guy said it made me laugh bc it sounded like he said wakey-toe lol wakey wakey! 👣

“You come back here and put on your pants!!” “Well Sadie I ain’t got no more pants.. THE DANG BALDNOBBERS STOLE EM!” So classic, I’m so glad they kept that scene in the new ride!
Billy bobs
Don't forget about the great discounts for Veterans! Branson loves those who have and still serve.
Yes!
