  This isnt the alternate solution. The alternate is to seduce Burke as a female character. This is just killing him after you completed the quest line which you can do with...practically every quest in the game...

  @TheGamerNerd025 indeed. I highly recommend downloading a mod that restores cut content if possible. I am running Tale Of Two Wastelands so I don't need to.

  This whole quest, memey as it might be, is such a testament to Bethesda's inability to write compelling, interesting quest choices. Blow up the town full of innocents for no real reason, or... Don't. And to top it off, Burke is pissed enough he runs up to you to complain about it IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TOWN ??? If he waited nearby with a bunch of hitmen to try and kill you, sure, but it makes no sense for him to do this, yelling about his plans to blow up the place while still SURROUNDED by the town's inhabitants.

  @@shadowmare1742 It is cool you replied. :) I do reenacting so it is a detail nitpick I wanted to point out, reason is if you remove the cap after the shot, you potentially allow air to fan sparks in the barrel that could set off the next cartridge you load.

  It's a prick to get the game to work. It's why I own Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas and their DLC. Therefore I can use TTW which is basically running both games and their DLC on New Vegas's game engine.
