I work with 6mm beads and so many of these videos show how to tie the elastic using several knots making the knots too large to conceal in my beads. This is the knot that works for my 6mm beads. Thanks.

Do you have braces? Just thinking those tiny elastics you get you could have one of those on each side and it would hold the tails in place. I just tuck them under if they are annoying me. Good luck 🌻✨

But does it fit through the whole so like you can’t see it because all of the videos I see make a huge knot and that you can see it
@braceletaddiction2 күн бұрын
It depends on what size elastic you are using and how big the holes in your beads are! If you are having trouble fitting the knot inside a bead, try changing one of these things. Good luck ✨🌻

This method works the best for fitting inside a 6mm or larger bead; it doesn't get any easier than this knot. When making bracelets for kids, I like to add a drop of glue on the knot for a little more strength. Happy Beading! 🤗

Excellent I love that you are learning to make bracelets! There are a few similar ways, just keep practicing and find what works for you. Sometimes you have to change your elastic size, bead size or technique to find the perfect way for you. I have a few different videos with different knots. Hope they help 🌻✨

I no longer have the use of my left hand any suggestions on how to do this with one hand?
@braceletaddiction2 күн бұрын
Wow that would be very challenging! Wondering if you can attach the elastic to a clip - like a bulldog clip or a peg to hold it and then bring it around with your right hand? You could try using a clipboard as well, that might hold one end tight/steady so you can tie with your other hand. I love it that you are making bracelets! Please let me know how you go and what you find that helps 🌻🫶✨
