I loved the Giro and completely enjoyed watching TP dominate. Can't wait for the TDF and hope all the big 4 are primed and ready. Thanks for a good show.

If Vingegaard is 100% he wins, its not like pog was better in the Giro than he has been when facing vinge. He simply had easy competition.

11:40 Pogi Fans going to cry, what you mean he raced the number 3 or 4 guy. But that is a good point! And he will face the number 1 guys at the Tour but all are banged up from that big accident also.

Pogi is just on another level this year. It’s unrealistic to ask Jonas to be in form to compete with Tadej after such a bad injury. Pogi was not close to peak form at the TdF last year after the wrist break. Rog and Remco will push Pog but UAE’s team is so strong and Pog is fitter than ever. I’m predicting a comfortable win for Pogi in July. Wishing Jonas a very swift recovery because cycling needs him.

First of all, learn how to say pogacar properly and stop trying to compare your 35th place in the tour unaided with a modern champion of the sport. And l see you can’t say GREG LEMOND in any of your ramblings. A champion and REAL comeback phenomenon.

This TdF is very different for Visma... NO Roglic.... that changes the tactical dynamic of the race and is very much in favor of Pogacar. Even without the crash Vino's odds of winning were not as high as previous years. And the fact that Pogacar is the greatest to mount the bike since Merckx.

  • @neilmc120
    @neilmc12013 сағат бұрын

Roglic didn’t ride the Tour last year and it didn’t stop Vingegaard winning. But yes it will be tactically different for Visma because Roglic is now a rival and that changes things as he’s another rider to be wary of.

Quiso ganarle y no pudo.

The intro is pure comedy, nice punchline!! The Giro was a training session for Pogacar. There was just no competition. As a neutral one can only hope that Vingegaard is arriving at the Tour in some sort of competitive shape. He certainly won't be at his level from last year, but they will have re-invented the training wheels in those last few weeks. And let's not forget the other contenders, you never know who might jump out of the hat this year.

Johan is being untruthful and undermining he effort of top riders like Thomas, Martinez, O'Connor, Lutsenko, etc.The GC riders performances prior to the Giro has been exceptional. No rider in the top 25 will beat Pogacar at the moment. Or Which top 25 is he talking about? The likes of Pedersen, Van der Poel, Wout, Ayuso, Remco, etc?

an ex pro who is still in the cycling industry tried to explain to me the new young riders like Pogacar dont use pEDS, and they just have a new mentality where they try harder.. meanwhile the Giro this yr was the fastest ever in history, so it goes without saying im not convinced theres no secret ingredient thats making everyone go faster than ever except just for that they are trying harder ? Meanwhile im not implying im against the top pros using the latest science because just like it was when Lance was winning, it sure is fun to watch them all going so fast !

In 2023 Bardet was 26th in the world Geraint Thomas second highest ranked = 35th. Danny Martinez not in the top 100. Pog was number 1 but lets see if he dominates when 2 to 5 pitch up at the TDF. UAE showed some weakness for example in the one stage they went flat out and could only get Pog to 3 minutes from the leader. Pog launched and closed that gap on his own with ease.

The only question is how much the July heat affects Pog's performance at the Tour, as it seemed to do last year. He will regularly face 30+ deg C temperatures there, unlike the much lower temperatures at the Giro.
